„The place was clean and well stocked. It is a very quiet neighborhood and we saw wildlife every day!“

A dense copse of trees in a deep ravine blocks any view of water, and a gravel path of 30% grade for about 300 feet on the west border accesses an elevated deck with a dock below Otherwise, the house is great, access to the highway is great , the area is great.“

„We were happy to be able to walk to everything we needed in Shawano including the stubborn brothers brewery. The place was spacious and it was really nice to have two bathrooms. Host was very responsive.“

„My one daughter and grandson couldn’t come, but my other daughter and her husband had a great time. The kitchen and dining area had everything we needed to make a nice meal and eat it. The living room had comfortable chairs, and enough room for a family. I really enjoyed my stay.“

„The set up in the house was perfect all floors have a bathroom and bedroom which gives plenty of space to everyone!! The lake location is also perfect!! The neighbors are close by which worked out fine but based on google maps it appears there was more space between house, we still had no issues. The back yard is smaller and all downhill to the dock, the area of water around the dock is very weedy and muddy not good for swimming, fishing etc. which was stated previously but it is accurate. „We (my husband, daughter and I)decided to do a weekend away with our friends and their children when we had a wedding in the immediate area. Great location for the festivities we were attending at Shawano County Park Pavillion (>5min drive). Less than 10 min drive to downtown Shawano for the farmer's market on Saturday AM. Cleanliness was given a 4* only due to the amount of spiders(which I know is par for the course in August near a lake) . The kitchen could also use some updating, but we used ...
