„The room is actually quite big compared to most stand hotel room sizes. I would recommend putting in a small table with two chairs and maybe a full length mirror. The room was very clean plenty of towels and fresh bedding. Building was easy to find, was able to park right in front of our window. Entry was easy to understand. Very close to Cumberland island ferry and downtown area. Price was def worth it. Felt safe and clean for me and my children. “

„Really appreciated the good follow through when the elevator went down on Saturday. The representative got a repair man to the building in a timely manner and communicated with us what was happening during the day. The bathroom had excellent positions of bars for safety in getting in and out. Would recommend relooking at the bed and mattress padding as needs to be updated. The entry lock would often not work after several tries as could be frustrating. Thank you for our stay.“

„This was our fourth stay at Merry Mermaid Cottage in the past five years. Every visit has been wonderful. The cottage is perfectly located for an easy walk to the St. Marys waterfront. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing, and the cottage is well-appointed and just right for a couple (and their dogs). We have stayed four nights each time, devoting one day for the waterfront and its shops and restaurants, one day spent at Cumberland Island National Seashore, and one day on a road trip to sights ...

„Overall this place is worth the price. The only issue we really had was according to the listing there was supposed to be towels and extra linen. And the pictures show 2 fullsize beds. The room we ended in had 1 full size bed. The refrigerator also didn’t work. But we came for Cumberland island and the surrounding area was perfect for what we needed. We will stay here again. The only question we had was Vrbo says pets are allowed and the other property management website says no in some of their ...

„We stayed for two nights at the the house. Let‘s start with the positive things:- fenced yard for dogs- beds comfortable- house was spacious enough for 8 peopleOn the opposite:- it is not in a nice neighborhood- kitchen equipment can be improved“

„This house was just right for our family including 2 adult children and their spouses. My parents live nearby at an independent living facility and we were able to go back and forth while also having the comfort of a home. The host even welcomed us with a bottle of wine which was much appreciated!“
