„Positiv: Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und hat alles was man braucht um sich wohl zu fühlen. Auch in der Küche ist alles vorhanden. Die Umgebung bietet viele Möglichkeiten um etwas zu unternehmen. Negativ: Die Klimaanlage kühlt leider nur den unteren Stock und nicht die Schlafzimmer. Die Betten sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Nachbar war recht unfreundlich und gegenüber Fremden nicht besonders offen. Der Zugang zum Fluss war leider zugewuchert.“

„We had a great stay at the farmhouse at Peaks of Otter Winery in Bedford, VA! My husband & I needed rest and relaxation and the stay at Elmo's Rest farmhouse did not disappoint!! It's remote enough in the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains for peace & quiet but close enough to town (about 17 minute drive) to get to the grocery store, gas station, and very yummy Joe's Coffee Shack where I got a Caramel Machiatto everyday :) Definitely book this if you want to retreat and spend time alone or with ...

„The location is great for reaching the ski slopes and the restaurants. The farm house was quiet and peaceful. Great response from the host when we accidentally locked out the front door. We saw lots of deer and turkeys. “

„Cute farmhouse has a wonderful pool and hot tub! It’s on the outskirts of Luray, so plan on driving a bit to see the sights but it’s nice and quiet. There’s lots of levels to spread out in the house. Owner was very responsive and helpful with local suggestions of things to do and places to go. We enjoyed Skyline Drive in Shenandoah State Park that was about an hour from the house. “

„Very charming home. Lots of land and privacy to enjoy the outdoors. Even with the snow and ice, we did not have any issues driving up to the house. The ponds were frozen when we were there so we could not fish, but we really enjoyed target shooting and walking through the snowy trails. We saw lots of deer and animal trails:) The owner was very responsive if we had any questions. Stores were close if you need anything. Our family had 3 adults a teenager and a pre-teen.
