Welcome to our creekside cabin, just 9 miles from Lassen National Park and on the all-season Bailey Creek. After a day at the park, relax on our large multi-level deck to the sounds of the creek or lounge creekside at the fire pit. There are many forest roads around for a stroll.
Our cabin is cozy for a couple and still spacious for a large group of eight with 2 bedrooms downstairs (King Bed and Queen Bed), a loft bedroom (King Bed), and a fully stocked kitchen.
From the living room you can see and hear the babbling creek all year round. Listen to your favorite music on our Sonos speakers as you take in sounds of the creek and the whispering pines.
Deck & Outdoors: If you love the outdoors, you will love our cabin! From the living room, you can access the extensive three levels of deck that leads you to the creek. We have an outdoor conversation sofa set just beyond the living room and a full 8-person outdoor dining furniture just a few steps below. Next to the creek, there is a fire pit with log benches and lounge chairs. Watch the evening light slowly fade away into darkness with some s’mores. See the stars blanket the night sky to the sounds of the creek.
Kitchen: The kitchen is stocked with all the appliances and cookware you would need for a large group, including an Instant Pot and a rice cooker. Love coffee? We have Oxo burr coffee grinder, French Press, Hario V60 pour over setup, mokapot and a Ninja coffee maker. We have barista style mugs to enjoy your cup of joe on the deck or creekside.
Master Bedroom: The Master Bedroom downstairs is a cozy green room with a queen bed. As a bonus, it opens into the deck through double French doors to let nature in.
Bedroom 2: Bedroom 2 is the yellow room downstairs just behind the living area and has a queen bed.
Loft sleeping areas: There are two sleeping areas in the loft. The front of the loft has a double bunk bed just under the skylight for starry night views. The back of the loft has a king bed and an attached bathroom with large windows overlooking the tall trees in the front of the property.
We provide all of the bedding and bath linens for your use during your stay. We also provide body wash, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, toilet paper, tissue, paper towels and trash bags. There is also a washer and dryer if you need to get laundry done. We have high speed Starlink Internet (300MBPS) and a level 2 EV Charger for your Teslas, Rivians and any EV with a J1772 plug.

Our well water tastes great. We have a whole house filter and there is a second filter in the fridge. Please bring your reusable water bottles and save money and our planet from plastics. Thanks!

With Starlink Internet, you can combine work and play. On average we get 300MBPS down / 100MBPS up which is great for Zoom calls for your whole group.

We have a level 2 EV charger in the garage for an additional cost. We will let you know exactly how much you used during your stay and charge you what the power company will charge us for KWH used at the end of your trip. Tesla owners, don’t forget to get your J1772 adapter!
Winter Driving AWD/4WD:
In winter, typically November through April, you should plan to travel to our home in a 4WD/AWD Although we try to keep the short drive from the highway to our home plowed in winter, it’s often icy and snowed in right after winter storms. We do not accept last minute cancellations or changes to the reservation for not being able to reach our home in a 2WD vehicle.
Heating:
We have Mitsubishi Heat Pump in the living area and the downstairs bedrooms. The loft gets toasty from the heater in the living room. There's also a backup whole house kerosene heater in the living room in case of power outages.
