„What a gorgeous property, the perfect escape from our busy lives. Even my teens found themselves enjoying the engaging outdoor surroundings. From feeding the cows/ponies, chatting and chilling out on the hammocks, tree swings, playing ball games and making smores by the fire. The indoor fireplace had us gathering around playing uno each night and just enjoying some much needed family downtime. „The property size and layout was excellent for our families needs during our stay. Sadly the fact the house is very large resulted in the property being very cold, as the heating was inadequate for the size. And don't expect to use the featured wood fired BBQ and pizza oven as these are inoperable and the wood fired heater does work, however you need to supply your own wood. Sadly the communication with the host was not satisfactory. We raised several simple messages in the lead up to the stay ...

„A group of school teachers stayed at the Emuvale School House or Frogs 🐸 Hollow and were enchanted by the Acorn, Bottle and Cypress trees, went in the swings and Ezzie the dog had lots of room to explore! We enjoyed the fireplace, our rooms and the lovely claw bathtub and had a ball at the Jazz and Jumpers Festival in nearby Killarney and Warwick!“

We closed the windows in the lounge to block out the Saturday night live music from the nearby pub. I expect it is very quiet during the week. Access was easy with clear communication. Loved the sheep in the back paddock.“

„Ridge House is in a great location. Slightly away from the crowds in town for the Carnival of Flowers but still close enough that it’s not hard to get around (if you have a car). The house had everything we needed for our two night stay and it was lovely that all four of us had our own room and there were two bathrooms and toilets. “
