Cute, cozy picturesque mountain cabin with wood burning stove, queen bedroom downstairs and upstairs loft that sleeps 4.
Not only will you enjoy the cabin, deck with great views, pool table, games and bbq but be my guest to explore 40 acres which includes 2 ponds (kayaks and paddleboats), waterfall, petroglyphs and beautiful vistas especially at sunset and sunrise.





Easy access to the top of the mountain and vistas with as much positive energy as any of the vortexes I’ve ever experienced in Sedona or the like .

Breathtaking property!
The photos of this property do not do it justice. We came in March on Spring break. The landscape and property are beautiful! The Cabin was perfect. It was very clean with anything you could possibly need. Our son was in heaven with the catch and release fishing and paddle boat. Me and my wife enjoyed walks around the ponds and exploring the rocks. Emily was an amazing help to us and really enjoyed meeting her and her hospitality. We recommend this place to anyone who wants an intimate view of Arizona in an off grid cabin! Snowflake is a few miles down the road if you need to go into town for gas or groceries. SO MUCH around to go see while staying!

Perfect hideaway for a week or weekend, whether for a couple of a big family. Lots of room and spectacular views from the porch. We weren’t there long enough to really enjoy the pond, but it looks like it’d be a lot of fun, especially if you have kids. Overall a great experience and will book again if we’re in the area.

This cabin is amazing
My wife and I are both very much from the country and this was exactly what we were looking for! Nothing fancy but everything we needed other than food and drinks was readily available. We got to meet the owner John, which was a Pleasant surprise for us. When everybody says it’s funky they’re referencing the Decour it was extremely clean with no unpleasant odor‘s, my wife and I both grew up in a cabin and we know what a musty smell is, this cabin does not have that at all! We got to do a little fishing we did tons of exploring you almost can’t run out of things to do here

Perfect cabin getaway
The owner and his assistant were so friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to make our stay perfect. They loaned us a golf cart that enabled my disabled husband to visit the beautiful pond. Having only owned the property 2 years, they've made wonderful progress in updating the cabin and surrounding property. The cabin is comfortable and offers the amenities of home, including cookware, linens, and any toiletries you may have forgotten to pack. The afternoons during our June visit did get a little stuffy but they provided an oscillating fan that helped tremendously. The rest of the day was perfect temps! I understand they plan to install a heating/AC unit in the near future. The location was remote, quiet and peaceful yet a short 10-15 minute drive to Walmart for groceries. This was the perfect, relaxing, low-key vacation that we were hoping for and we hope to stay here again.

Great escape from it all.
The property was exactly as described, nothing fancy, but had everything we needed. Great downstairs set up with the fireplace and upstairs loft with a pool table. We thoroughly enjoyed the pond, where we paddled around in the kayaks and paddle boats, watching the fish below. The following night, we enjoyed a nice fire pit under the stars. We went on morning walks/runs without the worry about traffic, and the dogs loved running around the area and were exhausted every night. Exactly what we were looking for!

Exactly what we needed!!
This was just a great getaway. The property is beautiful and the home is listed accurately. The property owner was super helpful and answered questions quickly. The cabin has a great view and the pond was fun to fish in and paddle around. Caught about 10 fish using bagel bread as bait…. Worked better than the bait we bought! I would say the only downfall was there some highway noise….. but if that is all then this place is doing alright! Kids had a fun and we had a relaxing time! Rained pretty much our first full day there and the pool table kept us entertained so that is a bonus too! Hopefully we can make a return trip!

Nice cozy cabin
My wife and I stayed for a long weekend with another couple and had very nice experience here. The area is a little off the beaten path, which is exactly what we were looking for. The private pond was great for bass fishing and the dogs loved to run around and swim. Great deck area that had awesome sunset views and was perfect for an evening bbq. For a chill weekend, it is definitely recommended.

Quiet & Secluded Getaway
My wife & I stayed here with 2 friends in July 2021. The outside temperature was 102 both days there switch is unusually high for Snowflake. The cabin had 2 portable plug in A/C units (Samsung & LG) to help keep it cold. They were nice units. They did okay for the most part but was still a bit warm inside the cabin. At night though it was really nice and cool to the point we had to use a blanket with A/C units still plugged in. Pool table upstairs with a 50inch tv mounted on wall made it very nice to hang out and have fun. The owner/host was PERFECT. 5 Stars!! Always answered my text messages when I had questions. Even provided a golf cart to use. The pond was nice but small just as in pictures. Used the paddle boats and kayaks and that was fun. Ton of fish in the pond that swam right up to the banks. We were able to feed them with what the owner provided. The pond is not right outside the cabin but only like a 30second to a min walk. Can see it from cabin balcony. Plenty of space for dogs to run and just have fun if you have dogs. We never had to worry about them running into roads or attack by a wild animal. Secluded property was very helpful for this. If you looking for a small secluded get away to relax this is a nice spot for couple days.

This was a place that at 1st we wondered, what had we gotten ourselves into... BUT it turned out to be one of my favorite places! The energy was amazing, the house was exactly how they explained it, funky and not a 5 star which is what we wanted!!! The pond was so cool, the fish and Koi fish were beautiful. We spent everyday down by the pond, in the kayaks and pedal boat! The little waterfall was pretty amazing as well, I took in all the great energy as much as I could! John and his wife were pretty amazing as well, we were able to use their golf cart to roam the property and explore all their beautiful acres as well as letting us grab some fresh eggs from the chicken coop for breakfast. The stars were extraordinary along with the sunsets. There was an amazing rain storm that took place where we captured a double rainbow! I highly suggest anyone that's into country funkiness to stay here and check out The Petrified Forest!!!

Fun place to stay
We stayed here on our way home from Petrified National Forest. Great location from their and a nice place to relax for a day before heading home. We enjoyed the ponds, the rocks, the kayak, and the peddle boats - my kids especially had a blast. The house is as described. It's well stocked with all the essentials and the shower is great.

Great little cabin
Awesome stay, very clean. Great view and it was so nice having the things you need stocked and ready. TV and couch upstairs super comfy. Great parking for pulling a trailer and quad. Super dog friendly space. I'd recommend staying here to anyone in the area.
