This is the BEST VALUE with the LOCATION YOU CAN FIND!!! THIS NEIGHBORHOOD WILL MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE A MILLION DOLLARS PROVIDES AN UNMATCHED BEACH ATMOSPHERE!! Very good Beach house atmosphere! This house is not new, but very clean and everything works perfectly! the perfect location - across from the beach and within walking distance to so many restaurants and bars. It is great to be able to quickly run back to the house to take a break from the sun or restock the cooler The perfect location is right across from the beach provides walking distance access to so many restaurants or bars in the Village and heart of Siesta Key right on the country's #1 beach in the nation. That being said the location also provides the opportunity to quickly walk back to the house to get in the shade from the sun or just to even restock the cooler. In addition to the variety of bars, restaurants, nightlife with live music, and shopping/sports center access, this gives the perfect opportunity for a beautiful venue for weddings as this is only 100 feet away from the beach.
This type of rental is a unique opportunity because there is really no need for a car since EVERYTHING IS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE! Directly across the street from beach access. It is a very easy and very safe area. Just around the corner from a great restaurant area--the village.
The air conditioner cannot cool the house below 72 F, please note that if you want colder do not rent this house! Let me know if you have any questions and I will be happy to answer

Perfect spot!!
We loved this little cottage and would stay again. It literally reminds get across the street from beach and right next door to Trolley stop B. You do not need a car if you stay here. The cottage was well stocked for a small group. Bring your own TP, though!! They had 4 beach chairs, beach towels, a hair dryer, and fan which is not listed in the description.

Cute, well maintained little cottage. This was nice because it was one of the few original houses left on this street. Location is perfect, walking distance to the beach or Siesta Village. A/C seemed to struggle a bit during the day, however, it is Florida and it was hot, so we just chalked that up to what A/C's are doing all over Florida right now. Nice area to cook out in that included a gas grill. Definitely would stay again.

If you want it bring it. Toilet paper, paper towels and if you want ice without buying it bring ice trays. Not beachfront and not a house. Kitchen is sparely equipped with dishes and cookware. Privacy is nonexistent. Nothing was as advertised

Really nice location, clean and convenient!
Very good location near beach. Not much of a view since it is behind another unit but very clean, quiet and private. The owner responded quickly when we checked in. The walkway to beach is directly across the street and very convenient if you need to walk back for snacks during the day. Turn right out on Beach Drive and you are only minutes from the shops and plenty of places to eat. Would definitely go back!

The location to the beach is wonderful. The rental itself was fine. Stocked and clean. The beach is the nicest one I’ve been on. I enjoy early mornings and watching the sun come up. Being outside the rental was a waste and because the place is surrounded by 4 story condos, you will not see the sun until about 11 am. I committed for 5 weeks. This place is fine for a week.

The unit in front, street side is scary at first site. The unit I stayed in was behind the front house. The two houses are old beach houses from I suspect the 1940's. The unit was clean but had a funny smell. There was no hair dryer in the unit. Great location. Extra charge for early check in which is disappointing considering how much they charge for service fee.

Delusional Description-Buyer Beware
This "vintage beach house" is more like a shack, wedged in-between two new, multi-story, multi-million condos. Guest cannot view the beach or the very busy road that runs in front of the property (excluded from description btw). Guest will feel secluded and fearful in the dark driveway leading to the front door rather than the written description that says "WILL MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE A MILLION DOLLARS." Described as "brand new modern appliances" means 5-year-old, rusting, dirty dishwasher. The mice and cockroaches know when food touches any counter and leave guests their excrement as presents. Photos taken. Rat traps around the exterior property explained the ongoing roof scratching noises each of the 4 nights. The "best value" claim is questionable. Calls to numerous waterfront properties was easy!!! The laminate flooring doesn't even meet the wall! I could go on - Shame on you VRBO!

Can't Beat This Location
The house has such a convenient location that is right across the street from the last public beach access area. This makes the side of the beach you're on not as busy as others. The house had beach chairs available to use as well. They only give you one roll of toilet paper though. When asked if there were any extra rolls in the house they just said it doesn't come with the package, which we thought was odd since there were two rolls of paper towels. There were also ants around the sink every morning. Our stay was wonderful though! I'd stay there again, just bring more TP next time 😄

We had a really nice time during our three night stay. We had a little trouble finding the unit as it is in the back of the street and we couldn’t find an address. The walk from the unit to the start of the beach is close, however the walk from the beach to the water is quite long, but we made it. I would recommend bringing a cart if you have a lot of things to carry. The unit is beautiful and well-kept. During our visit there was not additional toilet paper so we went out and bought some. We were thinking there might be some in the unit for when we run out. Overall, it was a beautiful stay in a beautiful home.

For this price there’re way better choices
The property manager is extremely condescending and unprofessional . The listing is not very clear with the pricing and once you question extra charges his responses become very rude. Even though it’s listed 4 people house, you have to pay 20$/day if it’s more then 2 people. Not even mentioning that we got charged for my husbands SERVICE animal witch is not only against Vrbo policy but also illegal. Also, I believe if you charge extra for 1 year old , at least you should provide pack and play or other place for him to sleep. Even though I mentioned that in our conversation, the manager responded “I’ll set everything up but you’ll have to pay extra”. We had to rush and buy it ourselves. The house provides no extra linen set or at least 1 extra towel. Other then that , location is nice , close to the beach. Property have been recently renovated and everything looks clean, but couch and floors were quite sandy when we moved in.

Perfect Beach Cottage
We rented this house based upon the photos showing the vintage style beach home and because the location was literally steps away from where we were getting married on the beach. We had a minor mishap during our stay that was completely our fault. The owner was very responsive and understanding. I highly recommend this beautiful beach cottage.
