Lock Box did not work
The owner/or manager was very defensive and controlling and combative regarding when, where, how, why the lock box would/would not be fixed replaced, etc. leaving the guests feeling uneasy about the stay, communication, etc. Accusing us of being spoiled, and then stating that we needed to be gone within 48 hours if we did not feel safe. I replied that we did not need to move, we simply needed a key that worked or a repair to the lock box. The owner/manager tried to accuse us of breaking the lock box and key or using them incorrectly - when even the repair person could not make them work. I feel terrible leaving this information as I don't know what else was going on with the owner/manger at the time, but it was very unsettling. A guest should feel heard and well taken care during a stay - accusations and threats have no place in the equation.
