„The first thing we noticed was the cleanliness of the house. Took awhile to figure out how to use the fan to have air flow through the heating vents, more ceiling fans would’ve been helpful for us (we’re use to central air and windows that can open for fresh air). Great place overall.“

„Man betritt das Haus und hat das Gefühl man macht eine Zeitreise. Jedes Detail stimmt, angefangen vom Bett und aufgehört beim Herd. Man fühlt sich sofort sehr wohl. Alles ist super sauber und alles was man in einer Ferienwohnung erwartet ist auch vorhanden. Die Gegend ist einsam und der Ort Rockland hat außer dem Rockland Depot ( ein Tante Emma Laden wo man den Schlüssel bekommt ) und einer Kneipe mit gutem Essen nicht viel zu bieten. „This was a great experience to see what it's like to vacation "Off the Grid". You had everything you needed in a cozy little place. „Very impressed at how clean, modern and well-appointed the cabin was. Everything I needed was there and it was very comfortable. Although it's on highway 45, road noise was not noticeable inside. I was there for some hunting and fishing and the location was great for getting around quickly. This would be good for snowmobilers, waterfall explorers and hikers, too.“

„The location was great, beautiful, peaceful and easy access to the Keweenaw Peninsula. The house was fairly clean and the bed was comfortable. However, the house had nice finishes/updates but poorly done. The electrical was clearly done by a non professional and without permits or inspections as outlets were upside down and light switches were in weird locations. „We really enjoyed our stay here. We brought a side by side and the house was conveniently located right on the trail system. The owner was very helpful and kind, it was super clean and felt like a real home. They had lots of brochures for things to do available, clear instructions on how to do things and everything was comfortable. “

„Went to the UP to ride with some friends. Had an amazing time both of the trails and at the house. House was awesome plenty of room, has all the amenities you need from towels, to a fully stocked kitchen. Owner was always quick to respond to questions. Would highly recommend staying there. “

„The house was perfect for our group trip up in the UP to grouse hunt. It was comfortable and the mud room was great to get all your gear off and not drag the mud into the house. We had a small issue with a power outage, but the owner was quick to get us hooked up to a generator until the power came back on the next day. We will definitely be back!“
