„Nice stay on Austin lake. Has pretty much everything you'd want for a great wisconsin north woods lake cabin stay.Great view of lake,cruising around on the pontoon, jumping in the rowboat early in the morning and doing some fishing watching the beautiful sunrise, pulling the tube around with the pontoon, sitting around the fire,cooking great meals on the grill.Cool hanging out with Jax the dog and the horse and goats. Great overall family experience!! Would return“

Two things to be aware of: -Its enormously BUGGY. It's on Wilderness Road so not surprising but bring lots of big spray and a a fogger. -The bed in the guest bedroom is not that uncomfortable but it squeaks like nothing I've heard before. It provided the perfect home base for Grandma's Marathon in Duluth (about 1 hour away). The grounds are beautiful (and perfect for bird watching!). We also enjoyed day trips to Pattison State Park and Interstate State Park for hiking. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a secluded getaway that still offers access to many attractions!“

The fishing was a little slow but that probably had to do with the heat and the fishermen, ha! The hosts were very responsive and super friendly.
