Sie werden unser Zuhause am schönen Flathead Lake zu schätzen wissen und wie einfach es ist, nach Kalispell, Whitefish Mountain Resort und Glacier National Park zu gelangen.

Unser Segel- und Ozeanhintergrund hat das Design und den Bau unseres 3061 Quadratfuß großen Hauses stark beeinflusst. Es hat eine sehr küstennahe und nautische Ausstrahlung mit gestrichenen Holzbalkendecken, gestrichenen Dielenwänden aus Nut- und Federholz und brasilianischem Kirschholzboden. Fast jedes Zimmer hat einen herrlichen Blick auf den See und das Haus ist mit unseren Erinnerungsstücken aus der ganzen Welt dekoriert. Die Küche verfügt über maßgefertigte Kiefernholzschränke sowie Granitoberflächen und einen schönen Aussichtsbereich, der sich perfekt für Ihre erste Tasse Kaffee eignet. Die Master-Suite und das elegante, mit Travertin geflieste Badezimmer befinden sich im Erdgeschoss neben einem kleineren Schlafzimmer und Bad, das sich perfekt für Kinder eignet. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über einen handgefertigten Kachel-Gaskamin. Im Obergeschoss befinden sich zwei weitere Schlafzimmer und ein markantes Badezimmer mit großer Badewanne und gefliester Dusche. Es gibt ein sehr geräumiges Familienzimmer, in dem Sie spielen oder einen Film ansehen können. Das fünfte Schlafzimmer befindet sich im dritten Stock und trägt den treffenden Namen "The Crow's Nest", von wo aus man eine spektakuläre Aussicht hat. Das Deck verfügt über zwei Ebenen, eine zum Grillen und Essen im Freien, die andere zum Entspannen und Einweichen in den Whirlpool. Wir haben einen schönen Steg für Ihr Boot und zwei stabile Kajaks, um den See zu erkunden.

Unser Haus wurde von uns, Robin und Patti Graham, Bauherren und Autor der Bücher „Dove“ und „Home is the Sailor“, entworfen und gebaut.

Wir bieten unser Haus jetzt als wöchentliche Miete an, während wir ein bisschen mehr reisen und unsere Enkelkinder genießen

THE BEST
It’s hard to put into words how much we enjoyed our stay at this property. There were two families of four, all with children under the age of 7 and we simply didn’t want to leave. From the moment you wake up and get to take in the lakefront view in each room, to the day spent on the incredible deck, lawn and beach, it was the best lake house I’ve ever stayed at. Patti and Robin could not have been more accommodating and the pictures do not do this property justice. We will absolutely be coming back.

Amazing stay and great hosts
We loved our stay here and hope to stay here again in the future. We brought our boat with us and kept it on the dock. My boys fished on the dock as well. Kayaks and canoes are provided plus much water toys. The home is beautifully decorated and has a nice island feel. Host Patti was amazing and replied quickly to questions. She also mailed back prescriptions I forgot at their home.

Our favorite Flathead Lake home
If you're looking for a peaceful escape with plenty of charm, A Sailor’s Home is ideal. From the moment you arrive, you'll be captivated by the stunning lake views and the beautiful backyard. Inside, the home is immaculate with the owner’s personal memorabilia throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to whip up meals for family and friends. The bedrooms are comfy and inviting, and the bathrooms are clean and well-appointed. The best part of this lake house is the outdoor space. The grass area is perfect for kids to play and there’s a private dock where you can swim, fish, take out a kayak or access your private boat, if you choose to rent one from the nearby marinas. And at night, the fire pit is the perfect spot for roasting marshmallows and socializing. The hosts, Patti and Robin are wonderful and make sure you have everything you need for a great stay. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Vacationing on Flathead Lake has become a yearly tradition for my family and this home has been our favorite to date. You will not regret renting this home and the beautiful setting, comfortable amenities, and friendly hosts make it a place you'll want to come back to again and again.

Enjoying Flathead
This is the second time we have stayed at Robin's & Patti's home. The experience is magical with our entire family (7 adults) enjoying a peaceful and comfortable week in their beautiful home. We're had such a wonderful time at this beautiful home. The home was just perfect in every way,from the rooms to the dock (which includes all sorts of kayaks and water toys), the patios, kitchen and BBQ, just wonderful. They really thought of everything, wood for the fire pit by the lake, plenty of fuel for the BBQ, toys, games, books and DVD, each with something for all ages... and the views, just amazing. We got a lot of use from the dock with the kayaks included and a rental boat from nearby. Robin and Patti were just wonderful in every way and we are glad we got to meet them as they are so fun and interesting (not a lot of people I know have books and movies about their adventures like the Graham's). It was a perfect week.

Special week!
The Grahams are great hosts. Their house is beautifully decorated and always in exceptional condition. Everything needed for a great vacation, both inside and out, is provided. We have stayed at the Graham's home many times over the last several years. Every week has been speial for our entire family and has given us all many great memories. Our grandchildren especially love kayaking in front of the house as well as taking longer trips further out on the lake, as we all do. It's also the perfect spot to boat from, and many other activities are close if you choose to spend some time away from the lake.

Early summer lakeside vacation
My family (me, my husband and 3 children) spent a week in Robin’s beautiful lakeside home. The home is high end, tastefully and thoughtfully decorated. The water temp was a bit chilly. We kayaked, rented a boat and fished on Flathead lake. We cooked and grilled everyday which was easy as the kitchen was set up for it. We enjoyed July 4 fireworks from the deck which was fun. We are are close to both Kaleipell and Glacier National Park. We all greatly enjoyed our stay at Robin’s special home.

A Little Slice of Lake Heaven!
We were a quick last minute booking at Flathead Lake as we normally go to Lake Coeur d'Alene for the warmer water. Our family had a fabulous time staying at Robin and Patti's Sailor House and the water was perfect. Their home is absolutely beautiful and we all felt like we were so welcome and invited to share their little piece of lake heaven. Everything about their home has a cozy feel to it from the inside to the outside living. The few steps to the lake and dock made hoping on our boat so accessible. The wrap around deck expanded the living space and we spent many mornings and evenings enjoying the gorgeous views from the hot tub. The Bonus room was a huge hit with the grandkids and all of the toys and movies made for some awesome hours of peace and quiet in the evenings while the adults enjoyed a glass of wine on the deck! We had a 2 yr old, a 2 month and 3 month old staying with us. We LOVED having a washer and dryer so convenient on the main floor. The kitchen is fully stocked with just about every item you may need and large enough to have several hands helping to prepare meals. The bedrooms are comfy and decorated in a soothing nautical theme. The boat bed was enjoyed by our 14 year old granddaughter where she would go sail away when the "littles" were just too annoying. They have every water toy, kayak, innertube, floaties, life jackets, lawn chairs, shovels, buckets, etc that you could ever need hidden behind the blue door under the house. It was a great discovery! The fire pit near the water is stocked with all the essentials for roasting marshmallows and sitting by an evening fire. I could go on and on but basically Patti and Robin have covered all the small details that we love when renting a vacation home. (The "Dove" soap made us smile) They made us feel like we were relatives that had come to visit and completely opened their home and loved to host our family. Thanks Patti and Robin!! It was a magical treat and they are just a special couple! We would definitely enjoy coming back to the Sailor House!

A perfect week!
This is the fifth time our family (including children and grandchildren) has stayed at the Graham’s house on Flathead. It’s been a while since our last visit. It was great to be backand we have booked a week for next summer. The house was in perfect shape and beautiful, as it always is. We bring our boat and have a great time tubing, wake boarding, skiing and cruising around the lake. Their dock and the location of their house are ideal for those activities. There is nice public launch a couple minutes from their house. However, you don’t need a boat to enjoy the lake and area around Somers. The view from their deck is gorgeous. The deck, yard, swimming area and water toys provide hours of fun for everyone. They have added a couple smaller kayaks for the kids since we were there last. Our grandkids learned to paddle and used them a lot. I took one of the larger kayaks with our 8 and 10 year old granddaughters and paddled across to the yacht club. The entire week was full of many similar fun activities. The fire with s’mores was a special treat. We continue to highly recommend Graham’s home. We have stayed at many rental properties. We have never had a better experience anywhere else. Robin and Patti are amazing hosts, keep their home in perfect condition and provide everything you could possibly need to have a wonderful vacation.

Our family loved staying at the Sailor House. We have rented for over 10 yrs on Flathead lake and this by far was our favorite rental property. The home is thoughtfully stock with any item you might need. Love the layout of the house, beautiful decor and so spacious. The outdoor living space, deck and dock were just lovely! We left wishing we could have stayed longer. Property was so lovely and beautifully located on Somers Bay. Robin and Patti were very gracious hosts, and the decor in the house is tasteful and unique. (There is a reason why you won't find it anywhere else). Our stay was relaxing and so much fun!

Coffee in the kitchen as daylight broke over the calm waters was a wonderful start to the day. the property is a 15 minute drive to Kalispell, Bigfork, 30 min to Whitefish, and 45 min to GNP.I have stayed at about a dozen VRBO properties over the past few years, and I put this one right near the top. Robin and Patti are excellent owners and property managers.

We spent a week and Robin and Patti's house. They are lovely people and made everything easy. The house and the views were even better than we expected. It was such a beautiful and relaxing week that it was very hard to leave! Thank you for everything!

The pictures online do not do this property justice. The home is immaculate. Beautiful architecture, decorations. Spacious living room on the middle floor. Great views. Tons of seating. Stocked kitchen. Very kid friendly. Tons of kids toys and a great beach off the dock for smaller children. We booked for next year while we were still staying there!

Amazing house on Flathead Lake
We just got back from a weeks vacation at Robin and Patti’s house on Flathead Lake and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We had 7 people (2 families) and there was plenty of space for everyone. The house has an incredible lake view from almost every room and is so nicely appointed with everything you need and more. We loved paddling in the kayaks and sitting in the dock watching the boats. We also loved learning more about the incredible experiences Robin and Patti had in their lives but I won’t ruin the surprise for anyone who stays there! We hope to return to Flathead Lake and Robin and Patti’s house again soon.

An amazingly beautiful property with breathtaking views!!!
This house was not only beautiful, but it had everything we needed for a full week. There were extra blankets for when we got chilly, beach towels and all of the kitchen appliances we needed. This was by far our best visit to Montana!!!
