New to the rental market as of December 2020, this 2,200-square-foot home in the Lower Indian Trails area of South Fork is a wonderful home base for outdoor enthusiasts in every season. On this large, private lot in a quiet neighborhood, you'll be just a few blocks from gold-medal fishing in the rushing waters of the Rio Grande. The layout is ideal for groups, with the main bedroom and bathroom on one end of the home and the rest of the sleeping quarters on the other. Each of the other two bedrooms has its own seating area, with the second bedroom on the main level and the third bedroom up its own staircase (please note that there is no privacy door at the top of the stairs, but the winding staircase creates a certain amount of privacy).

What's nearby:
Enjoy gold medal fishing a few blocks away from the Rio Grande. Play a game of golf at Rio Grande Club & Resort (just under five miles away), the head into town and grab a bite to eat from one of the many local restaurants. Wolf Creek Ski Lodge is just five miles away, perfect for winter skiing adventures.

Nice cabin outside of southfork
Overall the property was nice. The car port was nice in case of snow. We did have issues when we arrived, there were 0 towels. The management addressed this by quickly bringing towels but could have used more. There wasnt enough for separate hottub and shower towels for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked, but on the small side. Was crowded when 2 people were in there to cook. Beds were comfortable.

Family Ski Trip
We came to the cabin for a family ski trip that we take every year. We look for properties that can accommodate our grandchildren ranging in age from one to nine. The cabin was a perfect fit and had plenty of dining room seating, living room, seating, and each of us to have a nice separate sleeping area with our own bathrooms. I would definitely stay here if we come to the Southport area..

Great accommodations for 2 families
We had 2 families in our group, and this property was very accommodating. The bedrooms are spaced out and gives each family plenty of room. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook meals. The dining room has a large table that was great for meals and playing games. My favorite part was enjoying the hot tub after a long, cold day of skiing!

Multi-family get-away vacation
Our extended family stayed at this property for 5 nights, and it was a great fit for all of us. There were 5 adults and 7 kids ranging from 5-16 years old. There was plenty of room for us to sleep, play, and gather comfortably. We loved the pool table and the hot tub. When there was an issue with the water level on the hot tub, they responded to my request and corrected it within a few hours. The kitchen is on the smaller side for a large family, but there was lots of cookware (including a crockpot and pyrex dishes) so we were able to make large meals right there. Seating for eating was perfect as well. The fireplace was unavailable, which was a bummer, not was not a necessity. The provided charcoal grill worked fine, but it was fairly small also. We loved being walking distance from the Rio Grande to watch and fish the river. Would definitely recommend, and will probably return here in the future.

Perfect for our large family!
Plenty of room for two families and a grandma and perfect for our ski vacation! Loved the hot tub, nice location, easy access to Wolf Creek. Very nice to have a pool table and 4 bathrooms. Would definitely recommend.

Some of my family had rented a house in Creede. My intention was to be close to them to share the vacation experience and it turned out that we were nearly half an hour drive apart. For those who don’t know the geography it would have helped to more clearly differentiate sites in relationships to for instance Creede Minimg Museum

Great Vacation
Quite neighborhood, plenty of parking. Large bedrooms and 4 bathrooms which was Great! Very clean. There was a problem with a leak under the kitchen sink, which the precious renters left a note about, but was not reported? I tried to reply to an email, but it didn't go through. The maintenance man happen to come by on Thursday and he fixed the problem.

Colorado Mountain Adventure
We were pleased with how roomy the property was inside and out. We enjoyed the feeling of being in the woods, but the convenience of being close to town. Kitchen was well stocked, bathrooms had plenty of linens. Beds were comfortable and spacious. Our little grandsons loved the hot tub in the evenings after a long day of being out and about. Our only complaint is the upstairs guests slept hot. We are from Texas and are used to the heat , but love our air conditioners. Even with the windows open and fans going it was difficult to sleep. We all enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property and stay here again. Thanks for all the little details

Winter Wonderland vacation
We rented this property for a family Christmas skiing trip. Renting in July didn’t prepare us for a winter storm in December but everyone was great and the property management kept us informed every step of the way. The neighborhood was quiet. It snowed almost everyday we were there. The house offered the pool table, hot tub, fire pit all of which we enjoyed. The house set up was good and offered privacy to the different families. The kitchen still needs a good bit of updating but was useful and functional. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We had a fabulous vacation and would stay here again if out that way.

Great property ,kitchen needs some upgrades, verry roomy house, stairway going upstairs is verry steep and slippery, would suggest carpet on steps, biggest complaint was guests was not allowed to use fireplace although pics show firplace and large pile of firwood outside, when you take virtual tour and blow it up there is a small sign that says not for guest but its not in the listing,was disapointing that a home rented in the mountains with a fireplace and could not enjoy it, but the home is cozy and roomy and in a good neighborhood.

Great place! Great location!
Our family loved staying here! We saw deer every evening. The sunroom in the morning was warm and a great place to drink coffee. The kids loved the upstairs loft bedroom. Two of the bathroom had LED light mirrors which were fantastic. We all want one now. It was a bit of an adventure to find some of the light switches, but that just adds to the character of the house. There is no dishwasher so you get to wash by hand but it wasn't a big deal. We would stay here again for sure!

Perfect for our skiing trip in Wolf Creek
Love the lay out of the house. All 3 bedrooms are apart so max privacy with different families. There is a game room and sun room for more smaller group gatherings. Kitchen is well stocked although the dishwasher wasn't working. Overall, we loved the house! Thank you!!!
