„This is a spacious house in a beautiful location right on the shore of Lake Champlain. „We enjoyed our time here. Peaceful setting with beautiful views all around. Fun to look out back and see the goats and chickens! A little more on the rustic side, but we expected that. We had everything we needed. Plenty of towels and supplies were provided. Everything worked the way it was supposed to. Great base for exploring Lake Champlain Islands. „The Ham Fam Lakehouse was lovely, well appointed, comfortable, and the lake view was fabulous! We enjoyed the gas fireplace on chill mornings, and the sunset view in the evenings. The lake was easily accessible and we enjoyed walking the driftwood strewn beach. We had a few minor concerns the first days, but they were immediately addressed and remedied by the management team. Great job! We thoroughly enjoyed our eight-day stay! We would definitely return another time. “

„Looked for somewhere close to SUNY Plattsburgh to come in to visit our student at college, mainly to bring her dogs to see her, took a chance on the Blueberry Cottage and wasn’t disappointed. The location on the lake was beautiful. Was a little chilly when we went so we couldn’t really enjoy the beach or firepit, but I bet in the summer it would be amazing. “

When we pulled up it’s a barn attached to a house and you have to walk up two flights of stairs to get to the “apartment” it’s a barn so lots of black flies upstairs so we didn’t use the beds.
