„The hotel is in excellent condition and exudes a great flair. But unfortunately two negative points 1. It is on a busy road and therefore it is inevitably noisy. 2. The breakfast is mini and everything else costs extra. Unacceptable for the price.“

„Very good value and service. Beware if you are relying on satnav to locate. Because of busgates it took a bit of finding. Council pay and display parking nearby but overnight only to 5am however street parking available after 6pm.“

„Got to the place in the evening due to catching up with friends, greeted by the staff warmly, felt at ease as soon as we got there, sign in was easy and quick, and one of the staff was brilliant even offered to take our bag to our room. The room was gorgeous, nice and spacious with a TV, tea and coffee, and bottles of water. Bath and shower was great. The beds were comfortable and there was extra pillows and a blanket, which we used.“

„Very friendly place, very busy in bar area but accommodation separate (& quiet 😊👍)… enjoyed looking round the bar area after breakfast next day, lots of interesting items/photos etc and nice to be away from the ‘corporate’ feel that most hotels seem to have these days. I’m sure we’ll be back.“

„A wonderful cottage and a very nice interior. Ric as a host was absolutely easygoing und caring. Any request he answered within shortest time, which made us feel welcome and looked after very well. The cottage is very spacious and it was a terrific idea to change one of the former bedrooms into a huge bathroom. Heating and fireplace was working perfectly. We had ten wonderful days in Whitstable, where we come to for new year for nearly twenty years now ...“
