Verbesserungswürdig: Personal & Service und Zustand der Unterkunft
The hotel rooms look far better on the website than they did in reality. While the room appeared clean, it was in desperate need of some TLC. On top of that, the smell was unbearable. I ultimately decided not to stay, even though I had prepaid and lost my money.
The check-in process only made matters worse — it was done via video with a representative who had a strong accent, making communication extremely difficult. This added to an already frustrating experience. Offering free popcorn and cookies doesn’t justify the steep price tag and only felt like an insult.
I’m deeply disappointed. I’ve come to expect a higher standard from the Howard Johnson Wyndham chain. This experience has certainly made me more cautious when selecting a hotel. I regret relying on the brand’s reputation and my past positive experiences without checking reviews for this particular location in Spokane. Lesson learned.
