„Arrived late after noon. The owner was most helpful as we needed directions. Room was good with a brilliant view of Burnie Harbour. Breakfast we sat with the owners. We talked and talked until we realised we needed to move on to our next destination.“

„Have stayed here 3 or 4 times and find it very pleasant, comfortable, convenient and affordable. Some noise on the port-facing side from trucks and machines working through the night on the dock. Better to stay on the town facing side.“

„Lovely house with lots of ducks all around! Special highlights of Burnie include the penguin colony (very busy during our late-Feb visit), platypus at Fern Glen, and a beautiful beach.“

„This property is a bit dated but has obviously had some upgrades over its life. We had a seafront room for 2 nights. The room was reasonably appointed with everything we needed. The water pressure to the inroom taps seemed very high and the mixer tap on the vanity basin was very noisy. The property had a lift for rooms above ground level. The tariff is a bit high, even though it is to be expected for a beachfront position. Overall a pleasant stay.“

„Our stay was everything we could have wished for, Cindi at reception was friendly and informative; the room was clean, comfortable and the outlook over the dock and ocean was great. The bed was super comfortable, and amenities provided were very much appreciated. The only disappointment was that there was no available parking after returning late in the evening.“

Das Highlight sind aber die Gastgeber, die einfach nur super herzlich aber nicht zu aufdringlich sind. Sie sind super nett und geben tolle Tipps für die Umgebung. „After a long drive from Strahan it was such a delight to get to our room at the Masden. Had a front room with a view of the water. The room was modern, clean and comfortable with some added extras like a spa bath and microwave. Easy access, lots of street parking and little cafes to eat at close by. “
