„Amazing location and coziest wooden cabin. The cast iron stove kept us toasty and warm. Markus and Burgi were great hosts! We did a improvised winter canoe trip and got to see a family of otters! In a nutshell: it was all and more we wanted for a getaway weekend.“

A lot of swimming, kayaking, canoeing & fishing was done. The host Jeff was amazing, very helpful and great communication. He took us on a fund boat ride of the lake and the hidden spots with the turtles. Definitely will return in the future.“

„Honestly wasnt bad over all exsept hairs in the sink and over dirty and some hairs on the bedding. And ac units left in the windows still so was a bit drafty. „Liz is a wonderful host, very consistent in communication. The vrbo property is a bit out of cellular range, and the cottage doesn’t have wifi so very good to truly disconnect from the electronic world. We caught fish everyday, enjoyed some bbq and were able to enjoy our long weekend away thoroughly. „Where to start? The hosts are amazing. They have thought of everything, for when you haven't. The cottage is lovely. Plenty of space and amenities. The property is awesome. It has such a secluded feel. Views are wonderful both day and night with unreal star gazing. Fishing was excellent right off the dock. The nearby communities are fun to visit and explore. Lakehouse - A Gem on Wahwashkesh Lake

"We had a wonderful time in a house that exceeded our expectations in every way. The location right on Wahwashkesh Lake is stunning, offering a perfect setting for relaxation in nature. The house itself is stylishly built and furnished from top to bottom. Everything is new, well-maintained and very clean. Nothing was lacking: The kitchen was fully equipped, there were plenty of hand towels, bath towels and beach towels available. Even canoes and life jackets were provided – all in excellent condition. Melinda and Brian have put a lot of love into the details, ensuring that we felt at home right away. A particularly nice touch was finding the book "The Lake House" by Kate Morton in the living room – a truly thoughtful gesture. We greatly appreciated that we could reach out to Melinda and Brian at any time with questions and always received prompt assistance. We thank Melinda and Brian for the unforgettable time and look forward to returning!"
