Galloway Place befindet sich in Südost Springfield in der Nähe des sehr beliebten Sequiota Park. Der Zugang zu einem der Springfields Greenway Trails befindet sich direkt auf der anderen Straßenseite und führt zum Springfield Conservation Nature Center. Dieses 4-Zimmer-Haus liegt in einer parkähnlichen Umgebung, die sich anfühlt wie auf dem Land, aber zentral zu allem in der Stadt. Es bietet einfachen Zugang zum Highway 65 und Branson. Es ist nur wenige Minuten von einer Vielzahl von Restaurants, The Battlefield Mall und IMax Theatre. Dieses Haus ist zu Fuß erreichbar, über den Weg, zum Sequiota Park, lokale Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Last minute trip with family
We needed to make a last minute trip with family (all adults) and this was the PERFECT location and home for us. All four bedrooms are spacious (especially the master bedroom on the lower level) and the extra touches with the thoughtful, historical decor was AMAZING. Add in Gracie and Tarzan in the backyard (the mini-pony and donkey), the quiet neighborhood, the walking trail across the street and ample porch seating! The owners were quick to respond to any questions both on the app and through text and even offered to salt the driveway very early in the morning and help in any way when bad weather was impending for our trip back to the airport. Coffee and extras were plentiful and the cleanliness was TOP NOTCH. All beds were extremely comfortable as well. This is an EXCEPTIONAL find!!!

So Special!
Great location, charming house, and the hosts have thought of everything. If that weren’t enough, the porch was the perfect place to drink coffee in the morning and other beverages in the evening. Getting to watch Gracie and Tarzan (the mule and pony) from a distance and squirrels and deer up close made the porch even that much better.

Relaxing Weekend
This place is great. Nice and quiet but close to everything you need. Our favorite thing was the porch. Very relaxing, perfect place to have your morning coffee as well as an evening cocktail as you wind down from your day! We were in town for a wedding and very happy we found this place to hang out and relax before the big event.

This house was wonderful. It was well located, very clean, well stocked, quiet and safe. Perfect location for a day trip to Branson and a trip down Route 66. The owners were very courteous and very prompt with their communication. We will definitely stay there again sometime!

Great weekend conference in Springfield
We came to town for a conference from Thursday to Sunday. The house was perfect for us! It was clean and inviting. We appreciated all of the attention that has been paid to decorating with interesting items throughout the house. Communication and check-in were smooth, and the hosts ensured we had everything we needed. The kitchen was small, as pictured in the listing, but it is also very functional and met our needs well. There are several restaurants, grocery stores, and breweries nearby. If we need a place to stay in Springfield again, we'll be back!

Great Galloway House
The house was set up very nicely. My wife loved the decorations. We spent time sitting on the covered deck talking. Darren and Deborah were very attentive, checking in on arrival and on check out day. The house had fun snacks and cookies on our arrival. Tarzan the donkey greeted us each morning. Best Place they have ever stayed
I always get a project summary from the crew when they return to our HQ's. Our crew travels all over the country a lot. They've stayed in some nice places, and some not so nice places. Today, for the first time, they mentioned not only how cozy and comfortable the places was, but they loved the location and mentioned how incredibly nice and accommodating the hosts were. We will highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a place to stay in the Springfield area.

If we're in Springfield, we're staying here!
Our family absolutely loved this charming home. It was very nicely decorated, had plenty of space for our family, and was impeccably clean. It was quite a deal considering we would have needed at least 2 hotel rooms to accommodate the same number of people (6). Beyond all of that, the Lawsons were outstanding hosts. About 2 hours before check-in, Deborah called with the news that a storm had brought a very large tree down right on to the carport of the house. The house itself was fine and there were no impingements on any of the living space but that they understood if we'd rather find other lodging, especially considering my elderly MIL has mobility issues and uses a walker. Since the carport was blocked, the easiest entrance with only 2 steps was not accessible and they wanted to be sure that she would be able to handle the full flight of stairs up from the lower entrance before we decided. They let us walk through the entire house and consider our options before deciding if we would stay or not, and they didn't pressure us either way. The choice was 100% ours. We stayed, and we are so glad we did. We felt very comfortable and at home during our stay. The beds were SO comfortable and we loved the large covered porch. We were also able to extend our check out by several hours since they were not booked for that night, which was great for my MIL. The property is amazing, but what really makes this place shine are the hosts. We will definitely stay here again!!

Family Time in Springfield
The house was great! The details made the stay welcoming, relaxing, and stress free. The boys (8,11) loved getting to hang out with Gracie and Tarzan, a horse and donkey resident on the property. Instant enchantment!
The moment you open the door you will start to feel at home!! The adorable lamp lights have been turned on throughout the rooms to make you feel welcome! Home baked chocolate chip cookies have been left under a glass display! Milk is included when you open the refrigerator along with sodas and water! The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking and eating tools, K-cups, creamer, assorted chips and cereals! Your eyes get their own treats with cute and historical items sprinkled everywhere! The home is squeaky clean and perfectly decorated! The bathrooms have been stocked with items you may have forgotten. The beds are like jumping in a cloud of comfy linens that smell like heaven! Gracie, the pony, is in the back yard area and loves kisses and rubs behind her ears! We will be back to this 5+ star property when we are traveling back to Springfield! Thank you Darren and Deborah for the enchanting experience!!!
