We checked in and when we got to the room we saw tape with pieces of balloons and streamers all over the ceiling and sticky stuff on the table tops as well as the coasters. I called front desk and was told "they would make note of it so I get my $300 charge hold back when I checked out." Yes, $300 extra they hold on your card at check in (ridiculous). We were there for an event and the next day my toddler found a piece of the balloon on the floor and had it in her mouth. Thank goodness we caught it in time. I called front desk right away because now we are finding stuff under the beds etc. they sent the house keeping manager up and she was so upset that the room was never properly cleaned. She took pictures and went to talk to management asap. About 30 mins after she came back upstairs with a house keeper and she went over what needed to be cleaned in the room and stated that we would be refunded for one night and all of the taxes and resort fees. I thanked her because we never requested that and ahe went above and beyond and was very apologetic. Especially being that my toddler could've choked. Well at checkout of course front desk didn't know what I was talking about. The manager for 2/1 came out and said that she saw it in the system and the third party knew about it and they would refund me. I asked for a receipt or proof and she said they couldn't give me anything and gave me a card with her bosses name on it. Well I just received the receipt & charges are there.
