6. Please remember to keep doors and windows closed if they lack screens to prevent critters from entering. Avoid leaving food or crumbs on surfaces to deter pests. Rest assured, our property receives regular pest treatment for your comfort and safety.

Coastal Cottage..
Thanks to the team Bill and Gen for the opportunity to stay at such a wonderful little cottage. Everything was thought of as far as necessities like coffee and sugar to toiletries. The cottage was beautiful. Everything was in beautifully working condition. The propane fire pit.. " Amazing" because the temperatures did drop into the 30's during our stay.. Made for a nice chat outside in the elements. Needless to say... A great place to stay!!Now, tips for anyone staying here at the cottage. To no fault to Bill and Gen.. this is what to prep for here at the cottage.For those lite sleepers. Bring earplugs. Reason being is.. you will here a few passing train horns throughout the night. Roughly starting around 2am. So to block that sound. Get the plugs...Also, " the roosters " ... Possibly 3 maybe 4 of them. They also aren't fun for the lite sleepers. Plus, their crowing time is off.. They don't know if 5am is okay. 7, 8, or 9 am is good...So... " Get the plugs "...Then finally, " Woodsy the Owl "... He also likes late night conversation. Around 12ish.. So.. " Get the plugs "...These are all things that can't be controlled. With that.. would still stay again. Just come better prepared..Awesome place!! Thanks again y'all...

Very nice property
Very clean, no bugs, and lot's of extras, such as cooking spices, towels and blankets. The only thing it didn't have was grab bars for getting in and out of the tub. Being a bit elderly, that's getting more of a necessity these days. But, I would still recommend staying here!

Lovely stay
Stayed here for a quick visit with family… was the perfect house. Super clean and comfortable, well supplied… anything we needed (filtered water in fridge, laundry detergent, massage chair (!), plenty of towels, etc), they had. The beds and linens were awesome, super comfy! Beautiful front porch and nice backyard. Excellent communication with the host. Just a really lovely house, highly recommend, especially if you are particular :)

Beautiful home
We had a wonderful stay at the Coastal Cottage. The home is beautiful, bright, and clean, and had everything we could possibly need. It's very roomy inside also and could easily accommodate a family of six. It was also very close to the historic district. The caretaker, Bill, was so nice and very quick to respond to our questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Brought the family down for a long weekend d of good music. Found this hidden gem online and booked it for the weekend. Far & away the best property that we have stayed at thru VRBO. The house is immaculate & either brand new or completely remodeled. Great use of space for a small property. Will definitely look to use again when we are back in the St. Augustine area!!!

The Perfect Quaint Cottage

We were in St Augustine for a family wedding and found the Coastal cottage the perfect place to stay! The property is beautiful and so well equipped, even providing umbrellas for an unexpected rain! Bill the caretaker was very welcoming in his texts. We know he was available if we needed anything but the property was just as portrayed on the site and had everything we needed so we didn’t need to ask him for anything else. Lovely family weekend!

Amazing Stay!
I personally feel like this stay was underpromised and overdelivered. As it was a rush reservation, I wasn't expecting very much. When my family and I arrived and walked into the house, my sister actually said "Wow this is beautiful." I definitely recommend this place. It's a little out of the way of the touristy things, but it was a very short drive to get there (~5 minutes).

House was very well situated and in a convenient location. It was very easy to get to the beach but also to the downtown amenities. My kids loved the bunk beds and bean bag chairs. We also loved being able to use the ample kitchen space. Would recommend highly. Also very responsive property manager.
