• Das Haupthaus verfügt über einen offenen Grundriss mit großen Fenstern, durch die Sie die Aussicht genießen können. Es gibt auch einen Wohn- / Essbereich / eine Gourmet-Küche sowie Granitarbeitsplatten, Edelstahlgeräte und hochwertige Töpfe und Pfannen.
• Der große private Pool und das Deck wurden gerade mit neuen Fliesen, Bodenbeschichtungen und hochwertigen Salzwasserpumpen und -filtern renoviert. Das Pool Cottage verfügt über ein Badezimmer, einen Fernseher, WLAN und einen kleinen Kühlschrank für den täglichen Gebrauch.

Memorable Family Vacation
The view is amazing!! The roads are just as described, you definitely need a Jeep to get up to the property, but worth it for the privacy and the beautiful scenery. You get comfortable with the roads and driveway fairly quick. We loved the location! The property is a bit more dated than the video makes it appear, but it is very spacious. It has everything you need for the week. Having a washer and dryer was so convenient, so we didn’t have to pack so much. The pool is nice and big, a great way to cool off and plenty of space for everyone. While we were there, we did have power outages, scheduled and unscheduled. The AC is only in the bedrooms, so when the power went out it was a little warm but not too bad with the windows open. During the daytime, we spent most of our time out on the island, so the power outages were only a problem mid afternoon to evening, when we were trying to take showers or cook diner. We will definitely visit St John and Sea Grapes again.

Relaxing in Luxury
The property (and views from it) were as wonderful as advertised! We visited a different beach almost every day, and then relaxed at night, often on the deck overlooking the bay. Paul was amazing, and responded immediately - and with a fantastically friendly demeanor - any time we had a question. The property was very well-stocked with pool and beach supplies, as well as towels, dishes/silverware, and general house supplies. We had a terrific vacation!

Arrival to our home away from home went almost seamless , as we navigated our way up the switchbacks w our rental we actually had to call for assistance to locate the house. Paul was quick to respond and helped us navigate into the proper driveway. House was very spacious and accommodated everyone's needs. Plenty of hot water as we had 7 to shower after a day on the beach. The one tv went caput and Paul had a new tv there the next day. The view from the deck was amazing and pool having a separate pool house worked out wonderfully for us. The booklet that was put together was a useful tool with all restaurants and places of interest's menus and information all in one binder. Loved having the goats and donkeys around on a regular basis. Will definitely consider staying here again. thanks, Paul

Amazing house and views
We had an amazing time in St. John! The house was perfect for our family, the kids absolutely loved the pool. The location was great for accessing beaches nearby and restaurants in Coral Bay. The views were stunning especially at night with the full moon shining over the bay. All around a great spring break experience!

Million Dollar View for sure; Needs refreshing
The view from this house as well as the pool are definitely the selling points. This house has so much potential but in our opinion, needs to be updated. The appliances, the mattresses, the bed linens, bath and kitchen linens, and the living room couch all need replacing. The couch cushion has collapsed from wear and cannot be sat on comfortably. The bed linens, including mattress pads are ill fitting, stained, and have some holes and tears. The house could use a deep cleaning (heavy mold in windows/screens, and floors need steam cleaning). We would have felt more comfortable if all the sliding glass doors locked. Although we were assured the house was very safe with no crime, we were uneasy leaving the house unlocked each day. I will add that Paul, the property manager was very easy to communicate with. He lives in the bottom part of the house and we rarely saw him. Final notes: this is our fifth house rental on St. John so we have others to compare this house to. We understand things are different and more laid back on the islands and we took that into consideration as we write our review. Be sure to bring bug spray! The no-see-ums are relentless on the island and we were eaten up alive. If only we had been prepared (ugh)! We found the workers on the island who grew up on St. John to be for the most part, unfriendly and somewhat rude. Those service workers who moved to the island from elsewhere were much friendlier.

Excellent family home
Seagrape Estate was a wonderful home for our family of 5. Our tween/teens loved the space they had and the HUGE pool was a hit! Paul and Sandra were wonderful to work with and fixed any issue we had immediately. The microwave stopped working and Sandra replaced it the next day, which is INCREDIBLE on an island!! The kids were so thankful for their nightly microwave popcorn!! Sebastian is the sweetest neighborhood cat and our kids loved having him visit each evening! Would definitely rent this home again!

Perfect!
We were looking for a quiet, non commercial property outside of the tourist hustle and bustle. I really couldn't have picked a better place! The views were amazing, the pictures depict the house perfectly, the pool was awesome! We were just a short 15 minute drive from the beaches. Family Vacation December 2023
Fantastic property in a great setting. We were attracted to the less hectic/touristy island of St John and the house and location did not disappoint. Communication is outstanding and Paul the property manager was there when we arrived to meet us and answer any questions. He checked in with us regularly and even left the kids a couple of hidden toys for them to find at the pool. We cannot say enough about how great he was to talk to and gave us tips on everything from what restaurants are good to how navigate the roads. You don’t have as many restaurant choices as you do on the other side of the island but the several that are close are all great including our favorite Skinny Legs which was at the bottom of the driveway so easy access. Other good places like Shambles are a 20 min drive. The trade off compared to the other side of the island is that you don’t have to pay to park and you don’t have to deal with crowds of people. Maho Bay Beach was close and we found Hansen Beach was our favorite and we went there a couple of times. The house has everything you could need for the beach…chairs, coolers, snorkel gear and kids beach toys. Make sure you rent a vehicle with 4wd like a jeep and bring good bug spray (No seeums) Pool was great and our older daughter liked having the separate guest house beside the pool to herself Regular visits from the wild donkeys, goat herds and Sebastian the cat made the kids day. We would 100% stay here again.

We loved our stay here at Sea Grape! The pictures does not do the house justice. When we arrived, you got the feeling of just being at HOME. We had a slight issue with the fridge (most of it was it being opened and closed from our couier service) Paul came in the very next day to fix it. I cant say enough about Paul. We introduced himself and his lovely cat Sebastian. When we saw him, it was like seeing your neighbor that you have known for years. He was lovely to talk to and the house was a huge plus. Every morning we would all wake up early to have our coffee and watch the sun come up over the island. We will be back!

An amazing week in an unforgettable location!!
What an unbelievable stay at Sea Grape Estate! The location, house amenities, and pool were all wonderful and far exceeded our expectations. The property manager, Paul, was amazing and he took the time to make our vacation unforgettable for our children. It was nice to chat with him and learn about the island and he was always willing to offer a suggestion if we were looking for a restaurant, grocery, etc. The house location is perfect in Coral Bay and the views are breathtaking. Don't be afraid of the steep drive, it gets easier each day. It was nice to have so many beach toys, chairs, and snorkel equipment available for our use and everything was clean and in great condition. If you are looking for a place to unplug and relax with amazing views and upscale accommodations, look no further than Sea Grape Estate. Grab a book and lay on the hammock with the ocean breeze and you'll be in heaven. We will def be back to visit Sea Grape in the near future. Coral Bay is an amazing area with friendly people and the drive to the beaches and Cruz Bay isn't bad. This is def the quieter side of the island, which is what we were looking for, but there is still so much to see and do within just a few minutes of the property.

Communication, location, and home were all top notch. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, home was clean and well stocked. Paul was amazing at helping us navigate our arrival after dark (highly recommend arriving during the day if you can - the first time you come it’s a little harrowing to nav the switchbacks and driveway!), giving restaurant and your info, etc. Sebastian the cat was the most gracious cat-host, keeping us entertained each evening. Would absolutely stay again!

A Week in Paradise
This was our first time visiting SJ and it didn’t disappoint. Sea grape Estate provided us with a comfortable home base. Several mornings I was able to watch the sunrise with my coffee right from the deck. The property manager was helpful and the tips provided in the guestbook helped us navigate the island. I wouldn’t change a thing!

Excellence in paradise
We had a wonderful week at the SeaGrape Estate. We are frequent travelers and this property exceeded our expectations. It was extremely clean when we arrived and I am very particular. The kitchen is fully stocked and we were able to cook several meals at home easily. The view is breathtaking - even after you’ve seen it once it’s breathtaking every time. The morning coffee on the deck overlooking coral bay was a magical way to start everyday. The deck is huge- I was able to do some body weight workouts and yoga on the deck. The wrap around deck gives you a view like no other and the pictures do not do it justice. The property was safe and had more than enough beach gear including snorkels for us to use. Beach gear was clean and in good working order- no issues. Doors and windows were secure but we slept with windows and sliding doors open because the breeze was perfect. There is AC in bedrooms but didn’t need it. Temp Was in the 80s at night but it didn’t feel like it. It felt cool and very comfortable. The Pool is HUGE, clean and warm…and the view while swimming!! Omg! Showers/bathrooms were clean and spacious. They were all great but the outdoor shower was particularly nice. If you want to experience a little slice of heaven try the outdoor shower on a warm night. It’s wonderful. This villa was exactly what we wanted. Location was great, easy access to beaches and grocery stores! I could go on and on. Paul the property manger is a wonderful human and gave us many helpful tips during our stay. I would come back a 100x over if I could.

Wonderful vacation
Our 2 week visit to Sea Grape Estate was everything we hoped it would be. The location of the villa is perfect, close to the beaches and restaurants in Coral Bay. The wrap around deck gives you panoramic views and the pool was refreshing for after our daily snorkel trips. The house is well equipped and the manager, Paul is very professional was extremely helpful when he noticed that our Jeep rental got a flat tire. The driveway took a little getting used to but if you know anything about the island that is pretty much the norm as it is all carved out of the mountains which is part of the amazing beauty of the island. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us and we hope to be back next year.

Perfection in St. John
This property and the experience of staying there could not have been beat. Stunning view, comfortable house, incredible guest support from Paul, who gave us wonderful tips and answered every question we had and made us feel comfortable and welcome. We were intimidated by the drive up up the road our first night, but got used to it almost immediately (I would recommend booking a flight that gets you there during the day if you find unfamiliar roads with steep incline and sharp turns intimidating.) The kitchen was wonderfully well equipped and we grilled some nights and ate out others (Skinny Legs, right at the bottom of Sea Grape Drive was a favorite). The pool setting was spectacular, and we enjoyed swimming in the late afternoon and star gazing from the hammock by the pool. I could go on and on! Would love to come back.

We'll Be Back
Exquisite views of the sundrenched Coral Bay while perched high or the hill in a beautiful Caribbean Villa. Yeah, it was that good! The home was immaculately clean and private which made for the perfect oasis for a family vacation. As a bonus we would be occasionally visited by Pau,l the caretaker, who is always ready to offer up a cheerful hand with anything or an island secret of a great place to eat or visit- The perfect English gentleman. I look forward to seeing him next year.

For the price we expected perfection.
I will start out by saying that the property was clean. I appreciate that. The security was dismal. Our separate poolside flop house( for which we spent 1/3 of the price)did not lock and the door screen blew in the wind. If we left the glass door open to the breeze a cat came in through the screen! One panel in the outside shower ( our only shower in the cabana bedroom)was broken so you were naked to the island. We had to figure out how to make the water warm. There were six of us but 5 beach chairs. The snorkeling equipment was too old and not effective. No hand towels or washcloths and only one dish towel. We could not wash towels and reuse as the dryer was broken the whole time! We had to haul gallons of water because the manager told us not to drink the filtered? water. There are no deadbolts as advertised. The manager and his girlfriend stayed under the main house which made us worried about being noisy at all. The furniture in the main house was quite shabby. Uncovered metal leftovers of buttons cut into your legs when you sat on the couch. Honestly? It would have been an adventuresome fun rental if we paid half the price. We felt taken.

Great family vacation house with majority of the things you need. Excellent set up and gorgeous views of the bay. Nice pool though we went to all the beaches most of the time.
