Wonderful house, great location!
This house was perfect for our group! I loved the kitchen and the colors in the house. The stove was hard to understand but hey, we weren't there to cook with the abundance of seafood on and near the island. So I didn't care, but if you plan to cook meals at home on vacation, take the time to read the instruction manual. But again...why bother with the great restaurants nearby?? The pool was the main attraction, we spent all our time outside. I'm known as "the VRBO queen" amongst my family and friends, and this house again drew the comments "oh, good job" and "great pick, mom!". I would definitely stay here again! The only minor inconvenience is the use of physical keys. But no biggie. Great communication with the property manager, so much so that we wanted to try to meet and say hello, just ran out of time. Thank you for hosting us!!

The location and house were just perfect. The grandkids loved the pool, and the beach is just a short car ride away. The only negative at all, there are no bathtubs, therefore, showers with the little ones was the only option.

Great place for family getaway
Wonderful airy open concept house that serves as both a great base to explore St Simons Island (SSI) & surrounding area and enjoy time together over meals, in the living room, and in/around the pool. Spacious, light/bright, new looking, and sparking clean (stellar maid service ensures this place is clean as a whistle). Nice to have bedrooms in 2 wings as 3 bathrooms, providing privacy, and common space (kitchen, two indoor dining areas, and living room) in the middle. Came with all the modern appliances, pans, dishes/silverware, specialty tools, detergents, etc. Had to purchase toilet paper as the furnished supply was slightly less than needed. AC and its controls worked well even on the hottest days although a separate unit in 1 of the 4 bedrooms could use a little TLC. Bath and beach towels were plentiful and seemed new. The pool was a joy for children young and old, and kept clean of leaves and debris by a good automated pool cleaning system. Our group of two adult couples, 1 adult single, one grammar school child and 1 toddler/pre-schooler all enjoyed themselves. Belinda Thomas, the managing realtor, was most helpful answering questions before signing on to stay there and leading up to our trip to SSI. She was also patient when we temporarily misplaced a key only to find and return it later. Thank you Belinda. Overall a good experience!

Great rental for families
I had a wonderful experience renting with Belinda. She was very responsive from booking to checkout. The property was the perfect size for us—2 couples and 3 kids. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, so much so we didn’t go to the beach as much as we normally do while on SSI. We appreciated the home was one level yet spacious enough for everyone to have their own space. The location was also a plus—very quiet yet close to everything! The only constructive feedback I have is the shower head in the 2nd primary bath could be updated and the kitchen faucet head could be replaced—water spewed all over the place, but we could manage.

Walkable Island getaway
We booked this house for a family vacation and it was perfect. The pool was definitely a major selling point. There was plenty of space so we didn't feel cramped and on top of each other which was another must on our list. The furnishings and decor of this home made it all the more comfortable. This property is in the perfect location to everything we wanted to do and restaurants we wanted to visit. Hitting the beach wasn't on the top of our to do list so that didn't matter to us. Two negatives: the a/c didn't cool as well as some of the guest would prefer and the check-in/out process is a little dated with the use of actual keys, but neither would deter us from staying at this property again.

Great location and property for a family
We had an amazing vacation in SSI and a wonderful stay at this property. The house was even nicer than it appeared in pictures. The pool and backyard are much larger than I was anticipating. We spent pretty much every morning at the beach and then every afternoon in the pool! The house was very clean and well stocked with the basics including cookware, extra sheets, tons of beach towels, and a whole shed with lots of beach gear. I saw some comments about the AC not working well enough, but I think the owner may have addressed this. We were very comfortable throughout our stay despite 90+ temps throughout the trip. The location was fantastic--less than a mile from pretty much anywhere you may want to go. Easily walkable, but we chose to drive most places since we had two little ones with us.

This was our second time staying at this property! We love the lay out if the house and the location to all activities and shops! The backyard is perfect for entertaining or just relaxing by the pool. The only negative I would give is we were unable to run the air conditioner below 72 and it was hot I. Outstanding Relaxation!
We had an awesome stay at this house. Spent all of our time in the private backyard in the pool and hot tub except for going into the village for breakfast and dinner! The only thing that keep us from giving it a 5 star overall was the very weak a/c in the northern king bedroom and bathroom. The other item eas the VERY small corner shower in that bathroom. Will definitely return!!!

Comfortable Retreat
This house is located in a residential neighborhood walking distance to the village. The pool is large, but not deep enough to dive off the side. The house is decorated nicely, but not too perfectly that I felt the need to follow my kids around. Overall this is a comfortable house for a relaxing week in St. Simons.

AMAZING PLACE!!!
I cannot say enough good things about our stay at this home. It was bigger and better than I expected. The outdoor area with pool and hot tub is simply amazing and was perfect for my family of 5 with kids ranging from 10 to 24! The location could not be more perfect - easy access to the village, the beach, etc. Belinda, the property manager was AMAZING - we had a small issue while staying at the property and she IMMEDIATELY responded and not only solved the issue but truly went above and beyond to be sure the issue did not affect our stay. I cannot say enough good things about the home, location and Belinda!!

The checkin process was easy! Belinda left us an envelope in the drop box at her office. The home was close by to the beach, pier, restaurants, yet far enough from the busy roads! The home was spotless when we walked in and very spacious! The pool was definitely a plus. The wall a.c. froze up one day and Belinda had a repairman there the next day. We will definitely return!

Perfect family vacation spot
We stayed in this beautiful house as a family of 4, with two small children, with another family of 4 and their two small kids. The place was PERFECT. Two big master bedrooms made both couples feel more than comfy. The older boys (ages 3 & 4) chose to share the twin bed room. Our 8 month old baby was in a pack n play in the huge bathroom/laundry room off of our master bedroom. The other 11 month baby was in the 4th bedroom. Plenty of space for everyone, the hot tub was enjoyed by all and we even were able to get into the pool! At the end of March, it was questionable! It was a bit chilly but with the hot southern sun, it was perfect. We walked to parks, the beach, restaurants, shops & ice cream. The location was perfect. It was a wonderful, relaxing getaway for us - well, as relaxing as it can be with 4 small kids ;) Definitely recommend and definitely worth all 5 stars.
