STOP LOOKING. YOU FOUND YOUR STAY
I don’t even know where to begin with our absolutely 10/5 star stay with June and Steve at Treetops. Should I start at the absolutely phenomenal view? That would be a great starting point. Should I begin with the BAR NONE phenomenal service, hospitality & accommodation from June & Steve, also a great starting point, and honestly the highlight of our trip. June, you and Steve have set the industry gold standard for service, hospitality and accommodation, when I tell you June treated us like we were long time friends, you would have thought we were at their wedding. You will literally never, ever find hosts like June and Steve as long as you travel again. Now the property, the location is phenomenal, if you’re fit, within walking distance of plenty of eating, and taxis/shuttles to beaches. If you aren’t comfortable walking up and down hill for 2-3 minutes, a quick hop in the car & you’re right where to need to go. The ferry to St. John is literally 2-3 minute drive, depending how long you look at your phone while waiting to pull into traffic. The interior of their property is gorgeous. Ocean breeze flows through the property like a river and leaves you feeling refreshed every single morning you wake up to look out at the beautiful waters surrounding the island. The view - the view here is bar-none. When we first arrived, I had to pinch myself to remind myself I was truly still alive and not transported to heaven. Seriously, STOP LOOKING and book with June. You will love.

Caribbean Hospitality at its finest!!
This was our second stay at this beautiful mountain top oasis. Full porches provide a consistent breeze to enjoy the outstanding view of Red Hook. Enjoy watching the daily ferry's to and from St John, see iguanas and turtles on property-and sleep in the most comfortable beds! The open shower provides such a wonderful experience after a day at the beach. We were "stuck" a few extra says -thanks to TS Debby and our hosts could not have been kinder to help get us comfortable during our delay! Great home + great hosts=Fab vacation!!!

Perfect Paradise!
We had such a great 6 nights at Treetops! June was very helpful with questions before our arrival and throughout our stay. The location is perfect with all of the restaurants of Red Hook right down the hill. Very thankful that their location has a generator, as much of the island had intermittent power outages that didn’t interfere with us at all! Several beaches are within a couple of minutes from Treetops- Sapphire beach was our favorite! The people and car ferry is also right down the hill to visit St. John! Will be booking again!

Great vacation spot
This is my 10th trip to the island and my first time staying in town at TreeTops. We chose Tree Tops for its location and size as I was bringing some Island newbies. Red Hook is the best place to be for activities. The house over looks Red Hook and a Marina with beautiful views of St. John and surrounding Islands. The house have everything you need. We brought food with us and cooked in the evenings and breakfast and ate out during the day. June was very nice and accommodating. The AC in the bedrooms was refreshing. The breeze on the porch at night was wonderful and cooling. We enjoyed our nights on the porch. The views are just wonderful. We enjoyed the firework display St. John put on from the balcony, so pretty! A Jeep or a SUV that sits high is appropriate for getting into the driveway. Things to enjoy - a boat trip while staying on the Island is a must. Book with Adventures of Saltwater Taffy. I cannot brag on them enough. Super people, all inclusive and the food was sooo good. They leave from Sapphire Marina in Red Hook, right up the road. The best conch fritters can still be found at bolongo bay beach resort along with good fish tocos as well as great drinks. All very reasonable. Always my go to for a lunch or snack.

The views are amazing!
June was easy to communicate with. Keep in mind that there is no air conditioning in the main part of the apartment, just the bedrooms, so it was hot when trying to cook. The breeze was wonderful with all of the doors open! The pool was a little walk from the main living area. And the driveway was STEEP(definitely need a 4x4!) Groceries are SUPER expensive, the employees at Moe’s grocery told us to shop at Cost for Less. We drove everywhere we went, if anyone isn’t able to walk long distances this place is not walkable. Overall we are happy we were able to visit this island and have the opportunity to take the ferry to St John as well!

Treetops
Treetops is a beautiful 3 level house built into a hill in st Thomas . Each level it’s a separate apartment with its own entrance. The views are spectacular, the apartments are very spacious with wrap around porches and there’s a hidden pool. Our hosts, the Marshes, were so kind and hospitable. Plenty of beach chairs, snorkeling supplies, towels, sunscreen. Anything you would need. Thank you June Marsh for everything!

This property lived up to its listing, only better! June was an awesome host, but then every review has said that. Her communication before and during our stay was timely, helpful, and welcoming! Awesome Home in Red Hook
We stayed at Treetops for four nights and had a great experience. As others have stated, June is a wonderful host and goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable. She makes sure you have everything you need for a fun vacation from towels to sunscreen to snorkeling gear. She even met us at a restaurant in town to make sure we found the house okay. Treetops has stunning views of the harbor and surrounding islands. You could just sit on the wrap-around porch all day! The home is a bit older but the architecture is lovely and it is very clean. Keep in mind that the main area of the home does not have air conditioning (only the bedrooms). It was very hot and humid when we were there so that made it a bit uncomfortable inside. If you have not been to St. Thomas, be aware that it is very hilly and the roads are sometimes treacherous. You also drive on the opposite side of the road like in Europe. Getting to and from Treetops is a bit of a challenge so I highly recommend renting an SUV. We had a Jeep Wrangler and it was perfect. I would not want to regularly walk up and down the steep incline to get to town, although you certainly can if you want. It's not a very long way. Overall, we had an amazing trip to St. Thomas and enjoyed our time at Treetops!

A Wonderful Gem of a Place!
This was our first trip to the Virgin Islands. Rather than pay the price for a fancy hotel, we decided to take a chance on a VRBO. And we are so glad we did! This property is in a beautiful location on a hillside overlooking the water on the east end of St. Thomas about a 30 minute shuttle ride from the airport. The property has magnificent views of the water and other islands. Tree Tops is owned by June and Steve and they are accommodating, friendly hosts. We had a great time here and recommend it to anyone interested in a relaxing stay in St. Thomas. The property has too many amenities to list. Let's just say you won't find it lacking in any way. Excellent Wi-Fi is also provided. It's an easy walk downhill to numerous restaurants and the ferry to St. John to visit the Virgin Islands National Park. You cannot go wrong by selecting Tree Tops!

Wonderful Experience!
We enjoyed everything about our stay! My highest recommendation! The hosts made the difference! June made us feel completely at home, and went well above and beyond in every way! She provided travel guides before our arrival, maps/directions, tips on navigating the island, restaurant and beach recs, parking tips, and much more. We very much enjoyed the home, which is a style familiar to those who might frequent the Caribbean or Hawaii...wrap around deck and beautiful views, satellite TV, well-equipped kitchen and baths, terrific AC in the bedrooms. Red Hook is a cool place to stay, away from the bustle of the city and cruise ship crowds but not sleepy at all, very close to several amazing beaches, good food and bars, the marina for boat charters, and super convenient for the ferry to St John. Tips: renting a Jeep gave us much-needed all-terrain mobility on St Thomas and St John (almost a must for the adventurous); do your homework on how the ferry works (not hard but there is a system, and it helps to know before diving in). We would definitely stay here again.

Weekend getaway!
We stayed at Junes property for a one weekend in December and the property didn’t disappoint. I loved this place from the view, the wrap around porch, and the beautiful gardens everything was perfect. We were also located right in the heart of red hook close to the ferry and a lot of nice restaurants. June is the best host around, very attentive, she made sure we were right at home.

Breezy and Beautiful
The view from the property is spectacular! June is an awesome host. She makes you feel right at home, gave us a lot of information and assisted us with rides. The hill is doable, but rides were very helpful. I even learned her and I are birthday twins. Lol. She's very personable. I can't thank her enough for everything especially the ride to my next destination on my last day. Red Hook has several nice restaurants and the ferry to go to St John is very close. My husband and I enjoyed going to Sapphire Beach which is only about 4 minutes away by car. My only advice is to use the Mosquito spray if you are prone to mosquito's loving you. I did get several bites. June, thank you so much. You are so appreciated. We loved it!

Best views
June, the owner, is wonderful. She is very attentive and helpful. Before we even got to the island she sent some magazines on the island that showed what you can do. She also sent a map of the island which was very helpful before getting to the island. The views from the house are the best with wonderful breezes. We spent most of our time on the deck looking out at the ocean and at St. Johns. I would recommend renting a car, a jeep preferably. The taxi's are fine but can be hard to find at times. It is just so much easier to have your own car. Red Hook has great restaurants. They are all great!! Make sure you do bring cash as some places only take it and taxi's only take cash. Magen bay beach and Lindquist beach are beautiful. Lindquist Beach was my favorite. Those are the only 2 beaches that it costs money to park and use. If we go back, we will definitely contact June again and stay with her. You can't go wrong with this place. Thank you June for everything and the great pictures you took of us.

Fantastic Host! Wonderful Location
We really had such a great time! June met us at a local restaurant which was amazing and right near the house. She had thought of everything, Supplied so much gear to us, and was always available to assist with any needs! Really, just book with her. Such a great experience all around!

The property was wonderful, and as described. June Marsh property owner was wonderful, very attentive, good communication. The view is spectacular. Good restaurants nearby. Easy Ferry access to St Johns as well. We had a very relaxing stay, and would recommend this property. We will be back for sure.

Amazing views and host!
Stayed a week, the property is right abive Red Hook restaurants, ferry hub, and taxis are readily avail. if no car rental. June was gracious to come down the hill and get us if available a few times. Stormy Pirates company day trip to Limeout Taco on water (a must), and to Soggy Dollar day, was fabulous! We will come back! Taxis to and from airport for us sbout $120.Pool small, but wonderful with deck /chairs. Thank you June!!!
