„We loved the old house and all the period furnishings. Mostly we loved that it could fit all of us in one place. A short walk to the nice little beach was great. A short drive to Walker or to Brainerd to explore. We had a wonderful time being together, sitting around a campfire, grilling, and playing in the yard.“

„This was our second time staying at Kris’s cabin. The cabin is very spacious and was perfect for our large family. The new second bathroom came in handy and the kids enjoyed going out on the pontoon. The lake had an abundance of algae by the shore and the dock but the kids were able to swim off the end of the dock where the water was more clear. The large yard was nice for the kids to run around in.“

„We had a fantastic 5 day trip to this property in July - 4 dads and 4 sons - 6th annual trip to Nisswa Lake. This was our first trip to this property and we all loved it! The inside was perfect for our size group and everyone had a place to sleep. Grilling and campfires were great and my 23 foot boat fit perfectly on the dock. Best part was the lakeside lawn - it was huge and great for outdoor games. We are already looking forward to booking another trip next summer!“

„Easy to find. Street parking was fine. Although I had confirmation of booking and a traded a couple messages with the host, I was unable to unlock the door when I arrived. Called the host who walked right over. He said he didn’t know I was coming, but the place was ready and he gave me a new code to access the property. Due to not preparing for my arrival, AC was not on but after a few hours the indoor temp was fine. Place was quiet and clean. “

„We decided to stay here as it would be enough room for our whole group, me, my husband, his kids, my kids, and our grandkids. There were 13 of us total. We really like this rustic cabin. It is definitely outdated, but that was fine by us as then we didn't have to worry about the grandkids so much. The place was clean and we were spread out a bit in the three different sleeping areas.
