„We experienced the beauty of a mountain snowstorm and it was awesome! We enjoyed the gorgeous view sitting by the fireplace and feeling super cozy. Nina the owner was so thoughtful, checking on us, suggesting a good place for our car during the storm so that we wouldn’t get stuck when it came time to go home, even cleaning our car off for us! That was above and beyond—thank you, Nina. The cabin is as pictured and well appointed. We plan to return here. “

„The property was beautiful and the attention to detail was amazing. It made my wife and I want to build our own cabin based on this one. The location was serene but very close to some nice attractions in the area. My wife did get frightened by an animal when she went to grab something from the car. She couldn't identify what it was in the dark but do a bit of research on the local wildlife so that you aren't surprised like she was. Definitely would stay again.“

„It’s the coziest of cabins snuggled into the mountains! Close (40ish min drive) to Shenadoah National park for great hiking. A ten minute drive to its own cute little downtown. Do not recommend suicases with wheels, only pack duffle bags as the entrance to the cabin is up a few rocky steps- nothing that hindered us but did see noted in other reviews. “

The large dining table fit our group and its close proximity to the kitchen made serving and cleanup a breeze. „With grandparents and 2 families with children, not only was the house perfect but the fenced yard was huge and spectacular. We didn’t use the hot tub, but there was plenty of good space for adults, too.
