„Wir hatten uns sehr auf diesen Aufenthalt über 1 Woche im Juli 2024 gefreut. Im Vorfeld gab es schon Probleme mit der Überweisung und nur dadurch haben wir eine Kontakttelefonnummer des Zwischenvermieters Hoseasons erhalten. Die Möglichkeiten zu Kommunikation mit Hoseasons sind sehr eingeschränkt und definitiv ausbaufähig. Zum Haus: Laut Beschreibung liegt das Haus im Wald und ist umgeben von vielen Tieren. Das stimmt. „The lodge is located a bit higher than the neighbour lodges and therefore the view to the Holy Loch was excellent. Each morning during breakfast you see the see in onother shape or colour due to weather conditions. Of course, there was scotish weather but durtig rainy intervals the lodge was well equipped and the wlan works perfect. Thanks for the support.“

„We had a great 2 weeks stay at this lovely lodge. We were really pleased with the whole experience from start to the end. „This is a wonderful place and a wonderful lodge. Manager/Owner Cameron was very welcoming and supportive. The lodge is very well maintained and equipped. Many lovely details, including a busy bird feeder on the porch. Free kajaks. We will be back. But: You need a car for this location. We were travelling by train. The place is approx 4 km from Crianlarich station and from the local Londis store, and shopping etc was difficult.“

„We had a great time in this lovely Cottage. We loved to watch birds and squirrels on our balcony. We enjoyed playing with the owner´s dog Ralph and canoeing on the loch. Portnellan is a great starting Point to reach almost every destination in the Highlands. Our tip for families ist to do the GoApe treetop challenge in Aberfoyle. Enjoy your stay, we did it.“

„We needed a space to accomodate our large group for a wedding. Not only was this space large enough, but it was so affordable. We loved the charm of the space, & enjoyed spending many meals around the dining room table. The address was a little off (maps was taking us across the street, instead of to this home - which was tough to navigate in the dark). All in all, we are so grateful for our time spent here. “
