Admire the beauty of Barlaston Downs (4 miles), which offers scenic trails that take in stunning views of the Long Mynd, Mow Cop Castle, the Wrekin and the Clee Hills. Birdwatchers should keep their eyes peeled for kestrels, buzzards and rooks. Alternatively, take a stroll around the beautiful landscape gardens at Trentham (4.5 miles) and you’ll find a serene lake and a popular maze. If you have the kids with you, they’ll just love checking out the thrilling rides at Alton Towers (18 miles).
Park your car in the designated parking area and head to this gorgeous cottage’s back door. Step inside and you’ll notice that the cottage boasts original beams and some low ceilings that add real character and authenticity to the space. Make yourself at home in the cosy open-plan living/dining room before heading to the contemporary-style kitchen to cook up a storm. Share dinner with your loved ones around the large oak dining table before you retire to the living area to stretch out and catch up on your favourite TV shows. At the end of the day, there are two lovely bedrooms waiting for you upstairs – one delightful double and one charming twin. Completing the layout, you’ll find a chic family bathroom with a shower and WC downstairs.
In the morning, make yourself a fresh cup of coffee and enjoy it in the cottage’s peaceful, enclosed garden. There is private off-road parking for one car.
