„Our family (2 daughters, 3 grandsons 8-23) had a super week on Varty Lake. The Cottage is very comfortable and the two rooms were good for young & older. Kitchen well equipped. Lots of supplies, towels etc. Having the canoe, kayak, paddleboat, two paddle boards was amazing and all were used and enjoyed. Biking along the roads & Cataraqui trail was great. Swimming was good. „Our family greatly enjoyed our week staying in Watercombe. The waterfront is stunning and we frequently took out the kayaks to explore the bay. All amenities worked very well for us. One note for anyone staying longer (we stayed for a full week) would be that trash and recycling have to be driven out to the main road on collection day and there is not an outdoor bin to store a trash should you generate more than one bag.“

„This Lake house was recently renovated and is sitting on the banks of Picton bay. Cool breezes and lots of shade. Our Host was there to greet us. Then cottage was air conditioned and the beds were comfortable. The four of us had a very enjoyable week at this cottage/home. „Good size for a large family (we had 11 adults) but definitely needs a lot of TLC. The exterior of the building needed a good cleanup. The back deck needed total replacement as numerous boards were rotten and the handrail was rotten in many spots. I’d classify it as a safety hazard.
