„Our family (2 daughters, 3 grandsons 8-23) had a super week on Varty Lake. The Cottage is very comfortable and the two rooms were good for young & older. Kitchen well equipped. Lots of supplies, towels etc. Having the canoe, kayak, paddleboat, two paddle boards was amazing and all were used and enjoyed. Biking along the roads & Cataraqui trail was great. Swimming was good. „We absolutely loved our time at this cottage. The property was spacious and clean. View was absolutely breathtaking. „This cottage is a perfect location to enjoy nature and go slow. The lakefront area is perfect for a bonfire night and enjoy the sound of water and falling leaves. The cottage is very clean and updated - you have everything for your kitchen, ample space for two small families. The owner is very prompt in his responses and helped us in sending back the items we left in the cottage. The listing was accurate and we will definitely recommend our friends if they want to book a cottage.“

„This property and home was unbelievable! The pictures do not do it it justice, I've been telling all my friends and family about this and showing my photos of the unique home. The octagon shape with the fireplace as the centre of the main room is beautiful. When we first arrived it felt like an adventure to learn the home. „Had a lovely last minute visit with 2 friends. Beautiful moonlight over the lake, meals on the deck and swims in the lake. We canoed, paddle boarded and biked in the area - 5 kms to the recreational trail. Ceiling in the loft is probably low for most adults. Scott was very easy to communicate with“

„Our family greatly enjoyed our week staying in Watercombe. The waterfront is stunning and we frequently took out the kayaks to explore the bay. All amenities worked very well for us. One note for anyone staying longer (we stayed for a full week) would be that trash and recycling have to be driven out to the main road on collection day and there is not an outdoor bin to store a trash should you generate more than one bag.“

„This Lake house was recently renovated and is sitting on the banks of Picton bay. Cool breezes and lots of shade. Our Host was there to greet us. Then cottage was air conditioned and the beds were comfortable. The four of us had a very enjoyable week at this cottage/home. Lots of chairs were available as well as many outdoor games to entertain children. A+++“

„We had an amazing time at St George’s Lake. The cottage itself is quaint but well equipped and nicely decorated. The location is great and dock though down some steps was really nice for afternoon sunbathing and swimming. Hope to come back next year “

„Good size for a large family (we had 11 adults) but definitely needs a lot of TLC. The exterior of the building needed a good cleanup. The back deck needed total replacement as numerous boards were rotten and the handrail was rotten in many spots. I’d classify it as a safety hazard. Some of the chairs on the deck had no chair pads making them uncomfortable to sit on. There were numerous bugs in the house, lots of spiders, a huge centipede, and numerous ants.
