„Cute farmhouse has a wonderful pool and hot tub! It’s on the outskirts of Luray, so plan on driving a bit to see the sights but it’s nice and quiet. There’s lots of levels to spread out in the house. Owner was very responsive and helpful with local suggestions of things to do and places to go. We enjoyed Skyline Drive in Shenandoah State Park that was about an hour from the house. “

„This was an absolutely stunning house near Old Rag Mountain. The kitchen was gorgeous with high-end appliances, and the house was clean. Beautiful, open spaces and porch and screened-in porch as well. The owner was extremely helpful and and answered all my questions. Perfect for my family (2 kids and spouse). Watching the sunrise every morning come over the mountain was just amazing. If you are looking to get away to a place that's quiet, peaceful and tranquil then you need to stay at John's. The creek runs through the property and is a lovely walk. We will definitely be coming back. “

„Very charming home. Lots of land and privacy to enjoy the outdoors. Even with the snow and ice, we did not have any issues driving up to the house. The ponds were frozen when we were there so we could not fish, but we really enjoyed target shooting and walking through the snowy trails. We saw lots of deer and animal trails:) The owner was very responsive if we had any questions. Stores were close if you need anything. Our family had 3 adults a teenager and a pre-teen. „Our daughter was getting married at a vineyard nearby. The location of our rental was only 3 mi away. The whole house was spotless and comfortable! Our oldest children came from all over the country and it made the occasion doubly special to be able to stay together. The kitchen is well equipped for us to make a huge meal. „This was our second trip to Luray, first was about 6 years ago. The location is just where we wanted to be, in the country. Lots of Deer and Turkey were just next door and the Skyline Drive was only a few miles away, so riding my motorcycle to and from was a piece of cake. The house has everything you need and was so relaxing we didn't want to leave. I can't say enough about this property and we can't wait to come back!!“

„We were in town for a wedding weekend and found this charming farmhouse and were immediately hooked! Our stay was great, the house was exactly what we were looking for and we really enjoyed the beautiful sunrises and watching the cows in the fields. The outdoor space didn’t get used too much but was so nice and the heaters made it very comfortable.
