"After one week of driving around Sri Lanka, we were happy to arrive at the Green parrot Villa. Sudath, Thusha and Isa gave us a very warm welcome. They showed us around the House and the premises. Sudath came every morning to check whether everything was ok. Thusha, a very friendly and polite man was there when needed and took care of everything. He took us with his Tuk Tuk to a moonstone mine and the biggest lying Buddha. Being invited to his house and getting to know his family certainly was a Highlight of our stay. Isa is a wonderful Cook, who prepared delicious meals with fresh and high quality ingredients. We had dinner there nearly every night, because we could not get better Food. Try her devilled chicken and her dhal soup. The House and the surroundings were fantastic. We loved the Pool, the endless beach,the comfortable and wonderful air conditioned bed rooms, the spacious and very clean bath rooms. The house is nicely furnished and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. We can highly recommend the Green Parrot Villa. It is a local area there are not many tourists around, but everything you need is close by and you have the Chance to get in touch with the locals. Talking to Thusha gave us an inside view of the life of Sri Lankan people and we learned a lot from him.
