„Overall this was a great place for a getaway with my husband! The cottage is very well done. It's incredibly clean, well stocked, and the furnishings and supplies are quite nice. The view is absolutely gorgeous and very peaceful. The "downsides" were that a bridge is under construction until late 2025 in the area so it takes longer to get to any stores. „We (a group of friends and one tiny dog) spent a lovely and snowy weekend in Bob and Tammy's cozy cabin. Anything we needed--extra blankets, coffee filters, a colander--was there, and Bob even stopped by to give us some advice about navigating the property through the snow. We could not have asked for better hosts or a more comfortable cabin. Without a doubt, we would stay here again! 10/10“

„My partner and I stayed over christmas in what was the perfect cottage. If you want to believe that you're in some tiny small town america during christmas, this is the perfect place to be. It was by far the most peaceful and relaxing christmas.I've had in a long time. The stove is wonderful and makes me want to upgrade mine at my own house and the rest of the appliances are also amazing. Ten out of ten, we'll be staying again.“

„Clean and organized cottage, everything you need for a pleasant stay. Just be aware no wifi and no cell phone reception inside the house and poor reception outside (Verizon). „It’s the coziest of cabins snuggled into the mountains! Close (40ish min drive) to Shenadoah National park for great hiking. A ten minute drive to its own cute little downtown. Do not recommend suicases with wheels, only pack duffle bags as the entrance to the cabin is up a few rocky steps- nothing that hindered us but did see noted in other reviews. “

„My wife, son (3yrs), and I stayed at the Angler Cabin for 3days/ 2nights. The description was accurate and cabin was well looked after/ clean. Directions were accurate (Google Maps was able to locate property no problem) and we were well prepared with some food/ drink supplies so we could make sure of the small kitchen.
