The Space:
This single family home is a freshly renovated and sparkly clean four bedroom one and a half bathroom accommodation.
The living room has a large sectional perfect for late night lounging after a long day exploring the town! Or an ottoman that opens up to a functional workspace with a pretty outdoor view during the day.

The home has WiFi and Netflix will be signed in and other internet TV will be available for those with accounts.

The kitchen is a grey and white scale thats lets every ounce of light in. Stylish decor and live plants and flowers add to the ' Garden Cottage' feel of the home.

The back door off the kitchen leads you to your parking pad with enough space for four cars.

The bathroom has a shower with tub that is sparkly clean and new! Double sink vanity and stylish lighted mirror compliment the main bathroom beautifully. A complimentary basket of essentials just in case you forgot something and soap/shampoo/conditioner and a hairdryer is provided in addition to towels and washcloths.

The master bedroom boasts a queen size memory foam mattress and is spacious and filled with light colored furniture. A stand alone closet has enough room to hang all the clothes you don't want to store in the bottom dresser.

The second and third bedrooms bedroom have queen sized memory foam mattresses and have large walk in closets with rod for hanging clothes and a dresser and mirror.

The third bedroom is half the size of the other bedrooms, comfortably fits a twin size bed with pull out trundle.

We provide linens and blankets for the beds, Towels and washcloths for the bathroom, all cups, plates, pots and pans and utensils needed to cook a meals at the cottage. The pantry has many spices and oils for cooking. The refrigerator usually has condiments and butter in it, feel free to take stock of what is there already before you go grocery shopping!

A beverage station is set up right outside the kitchen with a drip and a Keurig coffee maker, ground coffee, coffee pods, and a selection of teas. We usually keep flavored creamers on hand.

I don’t believe in limiting guests to essentials, so you will always find enough paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, towels, shampoo & conditioner and body wash,
etc waiting for you so you don’t need to worry about packing these items.

Historic, yet hip, this Pocono Mountains town is a great place to spend a weekend or more. Stroudsburg’s strollable sidewalks and scenic woodland parks are perfect for leisurely outings. Gentle hiking and biking paths wind beside the Brodhead Creek, a top spot for fishing in the warmer months. The Delaware River and Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area are nearby.
For families, Stroudsburg’s shops and galleries offer fun workshops and special programs. Parks and preserves promote outdoor activities, and special events provide family-friendly festivities throughout the year. Parades, festivals and farmers markets brighten many weekends in this Pocono Mountains town.
Stroudsburg’s boutiques and galleries are filled with clothing, jewelry, shoes, sporting goods, home décor and more.
Dining in Downtown Stroudsburg ensures there’s always something new to sample. Restaurants range from pubs and cafes to ethnic eateries serving up Thai, Italian and French cuisine. The town is also known for its nightlife, where late-night bites and hand-crafted cocktails are served alongside music and entertainment.
Stroudsburg’s small-town charm is amplified in winter, when festive decorations adorn the trees, sidewalks and storefronts. We bought this beautiful historical in 2007 and just recently (Jan 2023) switched it over to a short term rental. We really enjoy sharing our adorable town with out of town guests.

While in town, you must visit Sarah Street Grill, just two blocks away. SSG has been open for business for 24 amazing years, and in that time the restaurant has grown with the community. SSG is deeply rooted in community service, environmentalism and clean and renewable energy. The Grill not only sources much of the produce for their delicious homemade dishes from local organic farms but they also have a garden from which they pick many vegetables.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire unit, except for the basement and attic, which are kept locked

The Neighborhood:
Downtown stroudsburg is a urban area with many restaurants, bars, and shops. Sometimes traffic and outside street noise.

Getting Around:
The house is just two blocks away from a great selection of restaurants along Main Street, the Sherman Theatre, and Courthouse Square. Uber and Lyft are readily available in downtown Stroudsburg.

Other Things to Note:
Pets will be taken into consideration prior to booking and only under special circumstances and a $50 non refundable fee, per pet. If you would like to bring a pet, please send me a request and the following rules will be applied:

1. The leash law according to the Borough of Stroudsburg must be followed at all times
2. only housebroken pets are allowed in the home and the pet must go pottie outside and the pet owner or caretaker must clean up and dispose of properly.
3. Any accidents or damage to the property inside or outside must be reported to me immediately with pictures sent to me so I can address properly with the cleaner.
4. A $50 per pet non-refundable fee plus costs for any damages or extra cleaning that is incurred.
