Completely renovated 3bed/2bath A-Frame with central heating and cooling, wifi, fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer, wood burning fireplace. Private dock, kayaks, fire pit, gas grill, & ample parking for boats and snowmobile trailers. 3 miles off 35W, 90 minutes from MSP/40 minutes south of Duluth. Easy access to Soo Line & Munger Trail.

Thanksgiving stay
Just as described. We came in at night (6:30! Ha!) and waking the next morning to the gorgeous view was wonderful. Beds were really nice and the fireplace was well used. We also went into Duluth one of the days. The location for us was perfect. Far enough away from Minneapolis to feel like we went somewhere, and close enough to other sites to be able to take advantage of them. We also took a hike in Jay Cooke State Park. The falls were spectacular.

Biking with fall colors
The place was clean and comfortable. The first day was cool and rainy so we enjoyed the nice wood stove. It was the start of fall colors and the deck overlooking the lake and fall colors were great. We biked the Munger trail which is beautiful. Elizabeth messaged us to confirm check in was ok. The host communication was appreciated.

Fabulous for a getaway
Hubs and I stayed for 3 nights and 2 days for a little child-free getaway from our 4 young boys. The property was lovely! We were able to make much use of the game table and went kayaking both of the days we were there. Additionally, Moose Lake was close enough for us to enjoy a meal out and a little exploring. Elizabeth was easy to communicate with and did what she could to accommodate any requests. Would love to return.

Fourth of July Visit
We were very excited for our stay at this cabin as the host was very timely and kind in the communication leading up to and during the booking. Upon arrival we were slightly taken aback by the basement bedroom sizes, but were able to make them work. Overall the house seemed clean when we arrived, but as we continued to get settled in we began noticing some issues. One of the biggest items was the dock. It is set too high compared to the water, and is very unstable. It made docking our boat a high risk. The steps attached to the dock leading to the water are also boards simply on cement blocks. My 6 year old granddaughter caught the edge of one board and it flipped up on her as she walked into the water. When I reached out to the host, who had been great communicating prior, with these issues she did not respond and still has not. Overall the quality does not line up with the pricing.

Beautiful cabin
Very beautiful property. AC worked great when we needed it! We enjoyed the games, the views, and the fishing. Our daughter caught her first fish out on the lake. Internet/wifi was not good. We did not connect to it and only used the TV, but it was constantly losing connection no matter what we tried. Bring a book or portable dvd player if you need it. My only other complaint was a noticing hair on the bathroom rug in front of the shower downstairs when we first arrived. Otherwise we loved it. I bet its beautiful in the fall! Serisouly has everything you need as far a linens, cookware and even some spices in the cabinet. Beds and pillows are also very comfortable- and I can be picky as I have back issues. I would definitely rent again.

Perfect Summer Getaway
This was our 2nd stay at the A-frame, and our first time there in the summer. We had some additional family join us this time with their small children, and we all had a blast! The cabin layout is perfect for families, and the deck and fire pit were also a hit! Our group loves fishing and had a great time catching a wide variety of fish off the dock. We also enjoyed paddling around on the kayaks and got a great recommendation from Elizabeth on a spot to rent a pontoon on a nearby lake. We love this spot and will be back again next season! Highly recommend!

Tranquility!
What a beautiful place to relax, and get away from the everyday rat race! The view from the deck is amazing! Very little traffic on the road next to the lake and even less on the water, very peaceful. We really loved hearing the Loons sing at night! The location is perfect, close to the interstate, but far enough away that you don’t hear it. And the town of Moose Lake is just minutes away with everything that you could want.

Peaceful and beautiful
We very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful A-frame home on the lake. We had all of the necessities and amenities we could use for the week, and within perfect striking distance to both Jay Cooke State Park and Duluth for day trips. We were very comfortable and pleased with our stay. The only thing we’d aim to change is to try to stay longer next time.

A very relaxing weekend
We had absolutely the best time in this cabin. Everyone enjoyed relaxing inside and outside. The fireplace, TV, comfy couches, the balcony, outdoor fire pit, and everything else that was offered here was lovely. Our kids had room to run around and bike. Definitely recommend! Quiet, Relaxing
Quiet, peaceful, lovely view from very nice oversized deck. Ample supplies and amenities, well stocked kitchen. Every modern convenience needed. Not fond of the layout or steep steps to the small dock on the lake, but viewing it from lovely deck above was wonderful! Enormous flat screen tv with beautiful color and resolution ~ a Smart TV, which we weren’t quite smart enough to operate! This home is well stocked and supplied with everything and more, so no need to pack much. That was nice. Saw eagles and enjoyed hearing loon calls, stargazing from the deck and beautiful sunrises. Close enough to Moose Lake and other places to dine, but we also enjoyed cooking meals there too. If you’re looking for a serene, restful getaway, this works! Kayaks and fire pit available, but we didn’t use either. Too relaxed and lazy ~ a good thing!
