The posted written instructions had inadequate information on the location of our parking space, which was far away from our cabin. Locating the parking space in the dark was very frustrating -- it should have been explicitly marked on a map. Better yet, a parking space should be cleared next to cabin 6B. „We loved our stay at the Orcas Forest House. Peaceful surroundings and wonderful space to spend a few days and relax. The house includes so many fun details to discover and has everything we needed for our stay. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals, and having laundry on site was another bonus. Close enough to Eastsound to easily head in for dinner or shopping, but far enough out that you felt secluded. „The apartment was cozy, plush, and very clean!! It had all the extra things needed and was very thoughtfully laid out. The owner was beyond gracious and allowed us to check out 3 hours late. This stay was the best I’ve had and I highly recommend the property!! 5 stars!!“

„While the property is peaceful and quiet, just minutes away there are so many fun, interesting things to do. We’ve stayed on several of the San Juan Islands, but San Juan Island itself is much more slow paced than most. The house has a beautiful, tranquil view, and the bed is extremely comfortable (and I am picky).
