„We enjoyed how this property was tucked back a bit. We couldn’t see our neighbors which was nice. I also appreciated firewood being on the property. We got full use of the fire pit and grill. Parking was easy and it was easy to find the cabin. The check in and out were smooth. There were a couple of oddities but were extremely minor inconveniences. There is no dishwasher, and the bathroom door downstairs locks itself sometimes and only one of us could figure out how to unlock it. But overall ...

„This almost didn't happen because there was a storm that took the power out. But, fortunately, the power was on and we were able to have 2 nights there. It has so much character. It was clean and located close to the New River Gorge for us to commute back and forth. Tiffany was wonderful to communicate with us and she and Kevin gave a quick history lesson of the place.“

„Cabin is very cute, the neighbors where having a sewer system or something put in so was kind of noisy during the day, but we were out a lot then. Had chickens visiting us, but that was okay. There was no toilet paper , but thankfully brought my own. Bed was comfortable. Nice porch to sit on!“

„Our family enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the cabin. The cabin has everything you need, including games and toys for our grandson. The host was easy to reach and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. There is no wifi, but we were happy about that- we got to enjoy our family that much more. New River gorge is 20 mins away- so we were able to hike and visit town for coffee, ice cream etc. I would recommend to my friends and family for sure.“

„Property is located on a hill in the woods so very quiet. Parking was limited but close to cabin. Cabin is functional but a bit dated. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The location is outstanding if you are traveling for New River Gorge activities. While pet friendly, you are asked to crate them If you leave them alone in the residence so plan ahead. Check in was easy and owners were very nice. If you are going as a group for park activities, this place is great.“

„The cabin was super cute, and enough for what it is. Pros: very close to the lake, fully stocked and charming decor. Perfect little outdoor area and the hot tub was a hit. Cons: Floors are VERY squeaky, house is not insulated, so it is very very loud and is super hot at night. Also, it seems as though maybe there is a sewer issue outside the cabin (pretty smelly). Overall, we had a great weekend and enjoyed our stay.“
