Menada caution
No issues with the VRBO site. However, menada hroup a nightmare. Rang to say we were here, could we get keys early. No. We had to collect from their office. No idea where it was so they eventually agreed for 10 lev someone would bring at 3. 3:15 no one came. Rang, said will be 10-15 mins. No one came. They stopped answering calls. Panic was setting in. Manager of site said couple had arrived at midnight previously and unable to contact anyone and were totally stuck as office was then closed , said that they weren’t the best and were too casual. Made no arrangements of times with people. He rang their head office in a different town. 4:30, bloke turns up with key. No English. Thankfully I had a Bulgarian friend there to help. Had no idea about the 10 lev fee so didn’t take it. Friend had to translate everything for us.
Booking said contact them directly regarding WI-FI. Sent lots of messages. Home now and never did get it.
Bathroom has shower but no shower curtain. Lots of black mould round bath. Freezer part of fridge was totally frozen up and couldn’t be used.
Stayed at a few apartments within this complex’s before and never had any issues till used this host. Will not use Menada apartments again.
