„Fantastic quiet location with great views across North West Bay with Mount Wellington on the skyline.Hobart is only 30 minutes away with the ferry to Bruny Island 10 minutes to the South. „Outside looks like a little old shack. Inside is lovely and comfortable. It has been made very homely. Reception isn't great in the area but there are dvds and books, some beach toys to keep the kids entertained in down time.“

„The cosy little home perched on the slope overlooking the wharf at Alonnah has incredible views capturing Satellite and Huon islands and Dover and Gordon in the distance. It made for a perfect quarters for spending some quality time with my brother and dad. The proximity to hotel Bruny is great. We were just there for a quick overnight stay but the property would make for a perfect base from which to explore the island. “

„The accommodation is opposite the main house but is private and overlooks the dam. We enjoyed watching the chickens and paddymelons. There didn't seem to be anywhere to walk or explore the property, but we weren't there long enough to ask. The accommodation itself is lovely - very comfortable bed and kitchen with everything you need. It was a very nice place to stay overnight before heading to Bruny.“

„The surroundings are beautiful and you really feel secluded and part of the natural bush - it really deserves its name "Bush Retreat".
