Enjoy beautiful views of Lake Almanor as you relax in this quiet setting among the tall pines. Newly updated 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin, all on one level. Two bedrooms both with queen bed. Third bedroom has full over full bunk with single trundle. ****Please note the capacity of the bunks - 175 lbs top bunk - 200 lbs bottom bunk.
Kitchen has updated appliances and is fully stocked. Two full bathrooms. Laundry facilities available. Many games and movies as well as a basketball hoop available for your enjoyment. Linens provided. Large deck overlooking the lake with new dining set, Adirondack chairs, and gas grill. Easy access to beach across the street.

Enjoy the beautiful lake views or walk across the street to the beach located just steps from the cabin. Lake Almanor is great for swimming and is also known for its amazing fishing! Explore other nearby lakes and hiking trails, including Butte Lake and Eagle Lake. Visit beautiful Lassen Volcanic Park, just a 45 minute drive from the cabin. Several restaurants and a marina are located on the nearby peninsula or drive into Chester (20 minutes) to find a full grocery store, local shops and restaurants. A lovely biking trail is located just a 10 minute drive from the cabin, on the western side of the lake.

Summer Activities: boating, jet skiing, swimming, fishing, tubing, sailing, hiking, biking, or just relaxing!!

Winter Activities: cross-country skiing, snow mobiling trails, snow shoeing, winter fishing, or just enjoying the beautiful view!!

Spring & Fall Activities: Boating, fishing, biking, walking, hiking, or just relaxing and enjoying the beautiful view!!

Beautiful
Wasn’t too sure that the weather would hold up this time of year but it did. Was such a needed beautiful get away. The directions via maps gave us the wrong address by 1 number and I was offline so we were unsure of where to park at first, but other than that it was a great stay, wonderful view, clean, beds were comfortable and everything you needed was there

Great little house on the East Shore
The house was wonderful with a nice deck with a view of the lake I enjoyed my morning coffee and my evening cocktail as the sunset soaking in the beauty. There is a cute small private beach was a short walk across the street and an easy drive to other beaches. The house fit our family of 5 perfectly. The only negative was there are train tracks up behind the house and there was a train every night and morning that were fairly noisy as they passed through, we did have the windows open so that might have added to the noise. I would still stay here despite the train noise.

Great place!!
Beautiful home in private location with gorgeous views of the lake. Easy access to all the pleasures of lake Almanor. Comfortable furnishings and well appointed kitchen. The large deck had shade or sun areas to pick from most of the day.

Home away from Home
The house was very nice clean and comfortable. Everything you’d need was there. The host had great communication and kept us updated on garbage pick up and other property maintenances taking place. Which was nice. We have never stayed on the East side of the lake before, which was not our preference of location. But other than that our stay was wonderful.

Nice property near Lake Almanor
Property was spacious... 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and looked upgraded. It was walking distance to the beach and about 45min drive from south entrance of Lassen National forest, so location-wise it worked for us. The location of the house is very scenic. Pay attention to the sign that gives directions to the property.

Beautiful location and a comfortable stay
Though the cabin is not directly on the shore line but the slightly elevated location on the terrain offers a beautiful glimpse of the lake and a higher vantage point. The nearby city of Chester offered everything needed for an extended stay from groceries, and restaurants to a Dollar General to replace some forgotten camping chairs. We recommend visiting the peninsula for additional restaurants and that small town feeling. There are tracks that run along the east side of the lake and just behind the cabin but they are courteous and hardly make more sound than any passing traffic. We rushed to count the cars and take note of the type of train passing through anytime we happened to notice one was passing by. I know that if we take a trip to the same area we will be seeking out the same cabin.

Wonderful Lakeside Cabin
We visited for a short winter getaway and loved the quiet cabin. The sunset over the lake was amazing and driving to different points of interest was easy. The property was clean, beds were comfy, and overall the stay was just what we needed to recharge.
