Verbesserungswürdig: Sauberkeit und Zustand der Unterkunft
Had the misfortune to stay here week beginning 25th October.
Carpet in room was very dirty with a particularly large stain near the radiator . The view ? fom the window was a brick wall about 2 metres away. There was water in the bath which seemed to contain sand or worse – difficult to see as the light was not particularly good.
Informed reception about the bath.
Later in the evening the bath had been cleaned but then I noticed that the bath floor was in several places very wet.
On using the wash hand basin and allowing the water to run away I saw that the water gurgled up into the bath - a mixture of water and raw sewage. I reported this to reception and a receptionist took some photographs of the room . ( I later learned from some of the staff that they had noticed a bad smell coming from the bathroom for several days)
Next morning the bathroom stank and I was later transferred to a better room. However there was no hot water to shower in for 3 days . I showered in cold water.
The room had been hurriedly prepared and I discovered that an attempt had been made to clean one of the chairs and a pool of water and detergent had been left on the chair.t
Breakfast – there was no milk in the coffee machines for three day and there was a shortage of mugs. And of course there was no bacon on Thursday morning.
Regrettably I had paid for the accomodation up front otherwise I would have left immediately .
Would I stay there again - NEVER
