„We had a great stay for 2 nights at this location. It is perfect for a family weekend, we even got to include our dog. There is a steep hill down to the lake but it is worth it for the beautiful view and a little joy ride in the kayaks. Bring fishing poles and live bait for the bluegill and bass. The host always had a quick response and we'd love to return in the future. “

„House was very nice and updated throughout. Felt very big and spacious inside even for our big group. Well stocked with everything needed including kitchen, games, and plenty of linens. Cruiser bikes were a fun touch. Bunk room was perfect for the kids. We were there in late fall, so didnt get to enjoy much of the outdoor space or lake, but would love to come back in the summer because it all looked fantastic. And hosts were amazing, very responsive and accommodating. Definitely recommend. “

„I spent every summer of my childhood in Oakwood, so I know the cottage well. It used to belong to Rev. Ross Cook. My grandparents were George and Marie Cook (no relation to Rev. „Cabin on Stone Lake had a spectacular view. Was clean and stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We had tickets for NOTRE DAME football. This cabin was only 30 min away, an easy drive. Hope to return in the summer to enjoy the lake.“

„The home was clean and conveniently located near just about everything. We came for a quilt weekend and we did lots of shopping and sewing. The first floor bedroom is great. Two upstairs bedroom were very cozy, just some steep stairs to climb. The owner was very nice and quick to reply! Would definitely stay again! All the Amish buggies were quaint and fun to see!“
