Berghaus - Aus den wilden Gästehäusern

Das Mountain House ist 2.000 Quadratmeter groß und verfügt über drei Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbetten, zwei mit eigenem Bad und ein Badezimmer im Erdgeschoss. Zwei der Schlafzimmer haben ausziehbare Schlafsofas. Der Berg. Das Haus verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche, ein Wohnzimmer, einen Essbereich und eine Veranda mit Grill. Es gibt auch eine Plattform, die zum Gebirgshaus angebracht wird.
Das Out of the Wild Guesthouse bietet eine malerische Aussicht auf Denali in privater Hügellage und die Möglichkeit, etwas über die Geschichte des Bergsteigens in Alaska zu lernen.
Das gesamte Anwesen, bestehend aus drei separaten Gebäuden, kann für Veranstaltungen angemietet werden.

Out of the Wild house

House was clean and ready for our use. The only issue was the bath and shower in the Summit room. I’m surprised someone hasn’t broken they leg getting in and out of it.

Perfect Spot for Family Getaway

Love the views, the layout and decor of the house and all of the functional items we needed for a weekend getaway. We messaged the manager for a Pack and Play for our toddler and they had it at the doorstep in <10 minutes. Great host and great property!

A true gem

Unfortunately the weather gods did not allow the view, but this is a fabulous place in every way. The location is wonderful and sitting outside is serene. The inside is very enjoyable and cozy, still spacious, the kitchen large equipped adequately, and one of those kitchens that has stuff in it to share... and leave some of your stuff in return. Beds are great, etc etc... 6/5

Amazing port in the storm

The weather in Talkeetna was pretty rough while were there but we tried to get out & enjoy the area as much as we could, but it was absolutely delightful to have our out of the wild mountain house to come home to. It was warm, comfortable & spacious!

What an amazing property!

This was a wonderful and unique property that we are still talking about. The views were breathtaking. Beds were comfortable and water pressure and temperature of the showers was blissful! Kitchen was very-well stocked with most everything you could need with one exception....there were not enough spoons! There was an amazing cast iron pan that was perfectly seasoned. The bathrooms had interesting tile work. The master tub/shower was an adventure to get in and out of, but the shower was amazing. The stall shower showerhead location was less than ideal, but the water pressure and temperature were great. The photos on the walls were incredible and we appreciated the postcards provided by the owner. We loved exploring all the unique rooms and appointments throughout the property. There were many interesting conversation pieces! And the decor was charming and different throughout the property. We wish we'd had more time to explore here. I would definitely recommend this property!!

Trip with friends

The mountain house property was awesome! There were 3 couples in our group and the mountain house gave us plenty of room. One of the first mornings we woke up to a pair of moose in the yard. I believe the owner of the property is a climber and the photos he had around the house were spectacular. Although most of our stay the weather was overcast we had one afternoon with a great view of Denali. The property is easy to find and gives easy access to Talkeetna and Denali NP. The care taker and Brian the owner were great and very quick to answer questions. We would definitely book the Mountain House again.

Beautiful views

This property has an amazing view of Denali. I loved sitting on the couch in the bedroom and in the living room and just relax with the incredible views. The grounds are really pretty here, with lots of flowers in the summer. The hosts were very nice and communicative.

Hidden Treasure!!

This was our first time in the Mountain House, and it was an absolute treasure! Our girls weekend saw us trying out a home away from home, and not only did the mountain house meet our expectations, it exceeded them! Each individual piece of art, sculpture & photograph that make up the charm of this place have been chosen with care, as well as making the home feel special, but at the same time, it feels nothing but ‘homey’ from the moment you walk through the doors. The detail and consideration that the Host & Owner have taken to ensure you will not have need for anything you could have possibly forgotten… (pizza pan, got one! Extra ranch packet, sure! All the comfy blankies and pillows you could want? Absolutely!) ensures that you spend your time TRULY enjoying your stay. Our group will be back. Thank you, for making our stay wonderful.

The Perfect Spring Break

We loved our stay. The house was fully stocked with anything you would need. The large space made it a great spot for our family get together. The kids had a great time playing outside. We were able to take the trail directly from the house on our snowmachines and go downtown. We plan on staying again next year. Clean and comfortable!

Wish we could have stayed longer! So lovely. It's a huge house filled with beautiful art and objects with enough space not to seem crowded. A unique space and clearly a labor of love. Amazing Rental Home

The pictures do not do this property justice, it is unique, charming and in a great location. We enjoyed playing some games that were available and sitting on the back porch just watching. The weather did not allow the northern lights or Denali to be seen, but we would stay here again if we ever find ourself in Talkeetna.
