Here's what stood out for me, and what I would want to know before booking: Nice information documenting the history of the property and its owners along with info on the area, including directions to a nearby store. Cafe lights on the porch were on, welcoming us (I brought a projector light for outside that didn't get unpacked). No insulation, places between the boards where you could see outside, yet there were NO bugs and the indoor temperature was maintained with no effort. Beds and pillows were very comfortable (high praise from someone who always brings a pillow from home). Plenty of seating inside and out, 2 TVs, KCup coffee maker and every cooking tool you could think of. We cooked every meal and had no need to use my pantry supplies or tools. For those of you that rent often: the check out instructions were two sentences!!! For some reason, the drive from FSU seemed so much nicer than when we stayed at the Talquin Lake area, I think because of the beautiful canopy road. Great property!
