The Space:
Gemma’s Animal Farm by Tiny Away is just an hour from Brisbane near the rural town of Tamborine. Enjoy expansive farm stay views of the land dotted with friendly animals, try feeding them, or unwind by the fire. Explore nearby highlights like Mt Tamborine, Cedar Creek Falls, or Broadwater Parklands, or enjoy Logan River Parklands and Berrinba Wetlands. With space to relax, park in the shed if needed, and savor rural charm, this retreat depicts a true authentic countryside escape.
A comfortable 139-square-foot accommodation is set in one of the best tiny house rentals and serene locations with abundant natural bushland, easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers).

Guest Access:
Guests have full access to the tiny home and its immediate surroundings. My house, shed, and the top paddock (which has a gate) are also part of the property.

Gemma's Animal Farm by Tiny Away is a rural retreat near Tamborine, approximately an hour from Brisbane. This area is known for its rich agricultural heritage and close-knit community where visitors can experience local farming practices and interact with various animals.
What's more, the Tamborine area is part of the Scenic Rim, a group of forested mountain ranges forming a quarter-circle ridge positioned roughly from south of Toowoomba around Springbrook. This region is known for its diverse ecosystems, including rainforests and eucalypt forests, and is a hotspot for biodiversity.

- Mobile reception has good signals for Telstra and Optus; Weak signals for the rest
- Don’t forget to close the windows and lock doors when leaving the tiny house/ property
- Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics (e.g., especially chargers)
- Please be advised that we have free-roaming farm animals (and potential noise) on our property
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Pet Guidelines:
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- Pets should be kept on lead at all times
- Pets are not allowed on beds and sofas ,and clean after your pet’s droppings
- Please clean up after your pet’s shedding before checking out, courtesy of other guests
Important note:
- Keep in mind that outdoor fire is not available during a total fire ban
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas
- For stays of 5 nights or more (or for bookings of 5 nights or more), an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
