„Ok experience. Nothing more and nothing less. Two Norwegians pretty used to comfort and good accommodations, and this wasn’t all the way as expected at this price level, even though it’s Serengeti. The staff were very bad in English, so we found ourselves lost in translation very often. Which made planning a safari a bit of a challenge. However, our safari guide was fantastic. „Overpriced substandard facilities. Freezing cold bedroom. Ugly architecture, dark and dingy. Dirty dark and cold bathroom. Window stained with dead bugs and dust. No heaters to compensate. Very depressing. No hot water. We were forced to to ask them to boil water and put it into buckets in order to wash ourselves by using an empty margarine container. „The staff went over and above to make this a unique experience. Our butler Ali was superb, Gideon who cleaned our room is out of this world. Folds your shirts and makes the bed twice a day. The young chef made meals that were consistently tasty. Rashid the Camp manager was a charm and excellent host. Highly recommend this place. “

„Great stay - clean tent, good food, fantastic staff, in the park so zebras on the doorstep! The only issues were that a) the bathrooms have no doors - which isnt good when you are 3 friends staying in 1 room - and there is a doorframe so goodness knows why there are no doors! And b) there was a grass fire which came very near the hotel and there was zero comminication about whether we were safe or not - simply saying "it will be fine" doesnt really do anything to reassure guests who arent used ...

Ein Hotel wo man seine Ruhe hat wenn man sie sucht

"Das Hotel bietet ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis (in Anbetracht der hohen Preise auf Sansibar). Es ist nicht zu gross, aber bietet doch alles was man braucht. Etwas weit weg vom Flughafen. Falls man Stonetown noch besuchen möchte, am besten vor oder nach diesem Hotel noch einen Aufenthalt einplanen. Auch bei einer möglichen Spice Tour. Sonst fährt man da 2 Stunden hin und wieder zurück. Der Strand grad vor dem Hotel ist sauber, gepflegt und puderfeiner Sand. Aber sobald man nach nebenan geht, liegt viel Unrat rum. Meer hat karibische Farben und Badewannen-Temperatur. Fische gibt es am Strand keine zu sehen. Da muss man schon einen Trip weiter raus buchen. Toll ist, dass das Hotel mit 2 Securitas am Strand bewacht wird. Man fühlt sich sicher. "

"Das Hotel ist wirklich sehr sauber und schön. Das personal so freundlich und hilfsbereit, so etwas gibt es in Europa leider nicht. Der Transfer mit Talixo hat weder bei Abholung geklappt noch bei Rücktransport. Wir hätten fast den Flug verpasst wegen Talixo, obwohl ich immer Abholungen per Mail bekommen habe "

"MyBlue is a nice hotel direct on the beach, owner is an Italian family, so it's a little bit like in Rimini... If you wnat to have a sun bed on the Beach, you have to pay!! At least Myblue rent these sunbed to everybody for 10$. For 10$ you can stay the all day on the most beautifull beach of Zanzibar, bring your own drink and food, have a free internet the all day. Is that not nice! I paid 3000$ for 9 nights and have to pay extra to be on the beach. Next time i will take an cheap hotel and will spend my day for 10$ at Myblue... When you are booking a room add the information that you don't want a room next to the Disco!!!"
