„Lovely, quiet, peaceful place to unwind from life’s stresses. The tiny house was very cosy for just myself and my Cavoodle. On my travels to the tiny house, Laureen was in contact and made sure I had plenty of blankets for the cold nights. The fire was beautiful! Will definitely return!“

The weather was great for swimming in the pool (waist deep and unheated but warm enough), there were ample kitchen and glassware, comfy beds and the highlight was the fire pit which we used nightly. The playground was a bit tired, and you have to bring bottled water beyond 10L provided, but the house was still brilliant for kids and adults, and we’d happily stay again.“

„The Shack is a lovely, comfortable place to stay in a beautiful setting. The attention to detail means is excellent and meant we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend visit. Alison was a great host too, we hope to visit again sometime!“

„I arrived late after dark and the destination / address listed was not where my confirmation said - despite a new GPS in a new Ford Ranger then google maps on my phone - I simply could not find the place. Signage needs to be improved off the main road- I actually can’t say if the place actually exists! I wouldn’t mind a refund or a credit to stay another time. I had to drive 40 Km away to get into a motel to get to my son at Puckapunyal the next day for a March out. Really disappointed 😢“

„2 families stayed. We booked for a wedding. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms so we weren't falling over one another. There was an excellent kitchen with everything we needed. Woodend is not far away for groceries. Adam lit the wood heater which was most appreciated as we found the weather brisk after coming from Queensland. Views and surrounds were lovely. Very peaceful and quiet. We would definitely visit again and recommend Grangehill, for any length of time; a weekend or a week.“

„A stunning location and we had a great time for the first couple of days but rain for the last two and little or no gravel on the visitor driveway meant that we struggled to get out of a muddy driveway in our 2 wheel drive car. There is no one on the property and no mobile coverage so it is all the more important to have this rectified. We had to park in the other driveway which made our trips to and from the car long, messy and muddy. This is not good enough given how much this place charges. ...
