„Great location. True ski-in ski-out condo. Room are nice, staff is helpful. The restaurant is OK, not great. The bed was not that comfortable, but it was fine. The heater is radiant heating in the floor. As the signs tell you, it takes time for the temperature to change in the room. Don't believe the reviews that say the heater is broken, it works as advertised. “

„Charming cabin on a beautiful and heartfelt property. The tiny goats, alpaca and donkey were so cute! Fresh tomatoes and basil from the yard, wood stove in our cabin and wood soaking tub were special treats. Highly recommend this stay to anyone. “

„Property was as described. Close to town, clean, very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. The only two downsides were not having a dryer and the beds upstairs were a bit hard. Would recommend and stay there again. “

„Brenda is a great host, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place is absolutely silent, which is good for the soul. We walked in the fresh snow to the edge of the gorge and it was beautiful. My only disappointment was that the fireplace in the suite is off limits due to some totally legitimate technical issues. Knowing that ahead of time wouldn't have made a difference except that I wouldn't have got my hopes up for a fire next to the bed. Arriving close to sunset while it was snowing meant ...

„Overall an enjoyable stay. Our group enjoyed the large kitchen, lounging by the fireplace, and working puzzles on the dining room table. Plenty of space for our group of 8 adults. Older, charming, traditional adobe with low ceilings (several head bumps for our 6'-2" folks). Some furnishings could use a bit of freshening up. As others have noted some sort of critters are periodically active above the ceilings. Baseboard heating lacks room by room control, so sleeping temperatures in bedrooms vary ...

„This property was exactly as described. The cabin was cozy and had everything we expected. The best part of our stay was the property around the cabin that our children were able to enjoy as they played in the snow. We would definitely stay at the cabin again.“

"Auch wenn sie in die Jahre gekommen ist, ist die El Pueblo Lodge immer noch ein guter Platz, um in Taos zu übernachten. Auch für mehrere Tage. Das superfreundliche Personal wiegt den etwas renovierungsbedürftigen Charme des Hotels voll und ganz auf. Die Damen an der Rezeption empfangen einen mit Herzlichkeit und vielen Tips für Restaurants oder Ausflüge, das Frühstückteam ist schnell und bereitet ein Buffet, das man nicht in vielen Hotels so vielfältig angeboten bekommt, der Hausmeister grüßt schon von weitem. Die Zimmer sind aus den 60er oder 70er Jahren, aber immer noch in annehmbarem Zustand, aus dem offenen Kamin riecht es jedoch sehr unangenehm nach Rauch. Hier sollte der Kamin vielleicht mal gereinigt werden. Wir kommen jedoch bestimmt wieder in die El Pueblo Lodge, wenn wir in Taos sind. / Even though it is getting on in years, El Pueblo Lodge is still a good place to stay in Taos. Even for several days. The super-friendly staff completely outweigh the hotel's charm, which is somewhat in need of renovation. The ladies at reception welcome you with warmth and lots of tips for restaurants or excursions, the breakfast team is quick and prepares a buffet that is not offered in such variety in many hotels, the janitor greets you from afar. The rooms are from the 60s or 70s, but still in acceptable condition, although there is a very unpleasant smell of smoke from the open fireplace. Perhaps the chimney should be cleaned. However, we will definitely come back to El Pueblo!"
