„We had 6 glorious weeks in The Kereru’s Nest. Fay and James were wonderful hosts. A real home from home (with a pool, wonderful views, friendly locals, superb beach etc etc). I really miss the Old Packhouse Saturday market in Kerikeri and the splendid workout that the driveway gave us (we made it a daily ritual to walk down and back up again to get in our “steps”). Plenty of walks/tramps in the vicinity too for when we wanted to be more active. Thoroughly recommend. “

„Traditional NZ bach with an amazing views and location.We had a lovely time.A bit hard to get your head around layout but 1 bedroom with a view at the front with 2 king SINGLE Beds and a cubby next to it with a small bed. A bunk room and another room at the back of the house with 2 king SINGLE Beds. The Queen Sized Bed is in the loft is through the garage and doesn't have a view and not as easy to use as the other rooms. Other than not understanding the bed arrangement we really liked the bach.“

„Hello, everything was really good, well described, easy to find, good amnesties - we loved the place a lot. We we did not like at all was the security camera in the kitchen, dining and lounge. The camera lights were sometimes on - that’s how we spotted it. That is not compliant with NZ laws - the owner did not inform about it. There is no written hint, not on bookabatch, not in the description in the house, not mentioned by the owner verbally. Please be aware of it. Cheers, Volker“

„Amazing attention to detail for a specail retreat. Enjoyed the fire, views, quiet and spa. Nice to have an electric lazyboy and smart tv. Cooking facilities are good. Bathrrom os lovely. Blinds could be improved, getting a little tired but servicable enough. A fabulous relaxing stay, i have recommeded to friends, and I'm keen to return myself!“
