This charming apartment is nestled in a gem of 19th century Tbilisi architecture - with influences of European Art Nouveau. The building is infused with a sense of local history, as it is over a century old. And yet the 2-level, 2-bedroom loft, with 2 baths, has recently undergone a full renovation, so all the amenities are new. We have a 24-hour check-in and are always happy to help you. The place is managed by a family of theater professionals and is full of interesting theater prompts.
The guests can use a fully equipped kitchen, 2 comfortable bedrooms with their own bathrooms, one chilling room upstairs, and one chilling sunroom downstairs with lots of sunshine and great views of the city.
As they say, there are two centers in Tbilisi: The old town, and then the Marjanishvili/Aghmashenebeli Area. This part has beautiful, eclectic architecture of the 19th century. There are 5 theaters (3 drama, 1 musical comedy, 1 children's) within the walking distance, numerous places to eat well, and about 5 outstanding restaurants from our recommendation list. Metro Station Marjanishvili is 2 minutes walk. By crossing the bridge and walking up 15 minutes, you will reach Rustaveli Avenue. By walking right via the Marjanisvhili square, you will reach the dry bridge (in 10 minutes walk) and the old town (in 30 minutes beautiful walk). In short, you are where you need to be for your visit to Tbilisi.
Marjanishvili Metro Station is right around the corner. Numerous buses and minibusses pass by. A taxi is always available for flagging. And above all, most of the landmarks and numerous great restaurants and cafes are within the walking distance.
An important fact to acknowledge: This beautiful building, like many other beautiful buildings in the center of Tbilisi, has no elevator. The apartment is located on the fifth floor. To us and to many of our guests, the location, the comfort of the space, its historic significance, and the motivation to shed off calories of amazing Georgian food, is perfectly worth the climb. However, we understand that it may not be for everyone, especially for the elderly. Please consider this before booking.
