If you are on VRBO looking for places to stay, odds are, you are looking for something unique, off the beaten bath, and not a touristy resort. This checks all those boxes. If you're looking for touristy resort, move on, this is definitely rustic. We very much enjoyed this place. If you choose to reserve this, I'd recommend getting there in the daylight to make it easier to find. I'd also recommend giving yourself at least a half a day to explore the property, something we didn't get to do. We are in our 50's and used the place as a springboard to do a train ride in Delano, tour the Cherohala Skyway, drive the Tail of the Dragon, and hike to a couple of the waterfalls in the area. The cabin is well equipped with everything you need. We didn't do any cooking there, I tend to not cook on vacation, but all the utensils to cook seemed to be well stocked. Wifi works well, phone signals, not so much, but that makes for a great place to unplug for a bit. This is a very cool set up.
