„We had a wonderful weekend stay. The home is spacious and very well laid out. Our group loved to gather in the kitchen and main livingroom area and had a movie night on our second night in the basement, really great set up for a bigger group! Hot tub is a lovely bonus, we didn't have the chance to walk down to the lake but we enjoyed the view from the deck and dinning room. The home has really nice furniture which isn't always the case in short term rentals! Host was quick to respond to any ...

„On this occasion, we were in Nova Scotia for a family member’s Celebration of Life and decided to extend our visit by staying at the Beacon. It is a wonderful place, and we were very comfortable and especially enjoyed the ocean views. We also had a lovely family gathering, with a BBQ and dessert by the fire pit. The only drawback is the condition of the access road - hopefully for those who use it frequently it will be fixed! Thanks for everything!“

„Met by the very attentive owner who is very polite. Answered texts very quickly, and checked in to make sure everything was okay and to see if I needed anything. Place was clean, bed is very comfortable, and amenities are close by with a car. Easy access to major highway close by.“

„I thought the property was OK. A few things stood out in which I was a little confused with. One is if you post a hot tub on site ....show us the Hot tub. There was no hot tub. Next please clean the BBQ It was very dirty and needed bigtime cleaning. Also when you have a firepit please have wood available. I stayed at many VRBOS and everyone had plenty of wood. There was no wood and luckily I got some from some good people around the surrounding area. I'm just happy I looked after my ...

„Property was under construction, but this did not hamper our stay. Was clean and location was ideal. Would love to visit again once construction is complete. We loved the patio and spent most of our time outside.“

„The place we stayed was a little bit away from the convenience. It was too far for walking since bus stop was distantly away. Fortunately we got rides and didn't need bus transportation. Overall the place met our satisfaction since it was in a quiet area and we only stayed for few hours for sleeping each day. “

„This is my second time staying here and I will stay here whenever it’s available for my trips to Dartmouth. It’s comfortable, quiet, close to downtown and the ferry to Halifax. The owner is on site and communication is clear. Lots of amenities in both units as I’ve stayed in both and they are very clean and we maintained. Parking on site. Such a great spot. “

"Insgesamt war das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sehr groß, sauber und mit einer guten Klimaanlage ausgestattet. Die Fenster könnten mal wieder geputzt werden. Im Bad hat mir ein Duschkopf zum "in-die-Hand-nehmen" gefehlt. Ich war ansonsten sehr zufrieden. Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Die Übernachtungspreise finde ich sehr teuer, aber das scheint überall in Kanada so zu sein."

"Wir haben unser Auto direkt vor dem Hotel parken können. Leider ist die Eingangstür sehr schwerfällig, so dass es am einfachsten ist, wenn der andere die Tür aufhält. Die Rezeption war bei unserer Ankunft um 18 Uhr Ortszeit für ca. 10 Minuten nicht besetzt, da die Dame wohl einem Gast helfen musste. Da wir nicht auf den Aufzug warten wollten, haben wir das Treppenhaus genommen. Die Stufenhöhe ist ungewöhnlich hoch. Die Ausstattung ist nicht mehr die Neueste, aber in Ordnung. Das Zimmer war hinreichend gereinigt. Leider gibt es nur im Eingangsbereich eine Lampe und keine Deckenlampe im Zimmer, so dass wir erst die Lampe am Bett einschalten mussten. Ärgerlicherweise lief das Waschbecken nicht richtig ab. Das Zimmer ist hellhörig, so dass wir den Krach aus den Nebenzimmern mitbekommen haben. Dusche und Betten waren in Ordnung. Ein Vorteil ist, dass das Zimmer geräumig und es sogar zwei Kofferständer gibt."
